I love shiny things. Shiny things are great.507Please respect copyright.PENANAk4oCQK9i4X
Remember that game where you eat shiny things?
As a snake?507Please respect copyright.PENANAM20oIOiZaU
I played it a bit back in 2016, then an improved version, wormax.io, in 2018, when procrastinating during finals.
And now, I'm fully addicted. It's a fun game. Mostly because I love shiny things.507Please respect copyright.PENANAKgzyrsfWL8
When playing games such as these, you realise how fleeting feelings are. One second, you're mad frustrated because you keep dying without getting anywhere, and the next, you're at the top of the leaderboard, feeling like the king of the world.507Please respect copyright.PENANAN4cdZqhxDL
From my 1293294 hours of playing, I've figured out plenty of tips and tricks to get me a reasonably high score without dying. Let's play it together sometime!! If you see "@non" in the leaderboard at any time, that's me :D I have a British flag skin... lol
So what has this got to do with small moments that help me regain faith in humanity?507Please respect copyright.PENANA0iUbkNLeiF
Recently, on top of wormax.io, I've tried playing agar.io again. 507Please respect copyright.PENANAvb2nLgxah9
I was never good at it, nor played it a lot when it came out, and I wanted to be as pro as I was in wormax.io.507Please respect copyright.PENANAk89bJxShRU
The thing is, while you can't communicate with other players in wormax.io, you can kind of do it in agario, whether it is through your skin or through "feeding" other blobs. But of course, it's a pvp game, so teaming and being betrayed is incredibly common. As well as the sheer amount of people who use bots in agario - they have tons of bots that basically keep respawning and feeding them.507Please respect copyright.PENANAeXxZbk43K1
Of course, I'm not a cheater, nor am I bothered to install the software to gain these bots, so I'm at a clear disadvantage.507Please respect copyright.PENANAvlfwsDHf0A
But alas! The incredibly noob me met "Hard Rain". Not only once, but twice! On two different days... 507Please respect copyright.PENANAblvRfr5Gof

I was just chilling around one day, when I saw Hard Rain struggling to swallow up a much larger blob that was split into pieces. Since that blob was in the top 3 of the leaderboard, I thought, "why not give some support to the underdog?" 507Please respect copyright.PENANAhpRmwsSXNp
With that in mind, I fed them until Hard Rain was able to successfully consume the blob. Getting a few pallets of feed back as gratitude, I disappeared and went about my day failing to swallow blobs and getting eaten by bots.
But today, I was pleasantly surprised to see Hard Rain again! I fed them (well, attempted to feed as my feed just scattered everywhere...) as a greeting to see whether they recognised me... and it seemed like it. 507Please respect copyright.PENANAkALAHEnFXT
I was confused when I saw a large amount of bots coming to me and sacrificing themselves, until I realised that they were Hard Rain's bots. 507Please respect copyright.PENANA17OVqXpoMe
Together, we made an unlikely team, conquering the leaderboard, despite me being a hopeless rookie. When Hard Rain gave the majority of their mass to me, I felt burderned with the responsibility of letting them down. But alas, I was successful in swallowing up larger blobs! And when a blob swallowed half of my mass, Hard Rain took revenge for me.507Please respect copyright.PENANAyRIldg1xhK

But It was near the end. Hard rain suddenly started feeding me mass, despite another blob threatening to swallow them. I was confused, and gave the majority of mass back to them, wanting them to overtake the blob. However, I would never know if Hard Rain was planning to go afk and therefore surrendering their mass to me, or that they knew they weren't going to be able to overtake the blob, and hence making themselves smaller (though I do not think that was a good idea). If so, I'm sorry for failing you. 507Please respect copyright.PENANAjMBIIDLCmS
But with this experience in teaming with another player in a game that thrives off pvp, I'm somehow incredibly happy (also because I just single-handedly won a team game beforehand).507Please respect copyright.PENANAeevUxHjmHk

Uh, that was a dramatic rant about agar.io. It's because I'm so not used to teaming; I tried teaming with someone once, and realised I was incredibly useless and had absolutely no idea what I was doing. As well as the fact that wormax.io had no notion of teams. The closest thing to "teaming" up with another snake is not constantly trying to kill each other despite both being of significant mass (thanks, Korea (a snake's username). I hope Britain and Korea gets along like us : D).507Please respect copyright.PENANA2TiblVRJvF

Let's play wormax.io or agar.io together!507Please respect copyright.PENANAHkYuf3282T
I've also always been pro at scribbl.io, so we can do that, too.507Please respect copyright.PENANA6bpI9DVobf
