　　不上不下。認為是情慾片的同時，導演在跟你講鬼故事；感覺幽靈在裝神弄鬼的同時，警察這角色一介入，又顯得是犯罪實錄（實為瞳鈴眼系列）。

　　跳脫故事來看，可以看到在保守農村（同《俘虜》一般壓抑的軍中生活）裡那千迴百轉的情與慾，水深火熱、肉體交纏乃至能為對方獻身。其中感悟最深就是阿石小姐燒房子一幕，不由得想到《法華經》的比喻：『三界無安， 猶如火宅， 眾苦充滿， 甚可怖畏。』。有情（愛欲）眾生──豐次與阿石可謂是始終住在受烈火吞噬的房屋中，就算有他們倆愛的力量，也難以出離。
