Cecil as always, was rejected by the kids in the town. It seems everyone there hates her.
Maybe it was her unkempt appearance or the fact she was homeless. Or maybe it's because of the various troubles and things she'd been accused of by the other citizens.
This was my first written version of Alone. Which I decided to rewrite because I got involved in speech.
“Please-”
But the answer was no, It always was a no.
Cecilia didn’t know why everyone was like this to her, she wasn’t cursed, she was sure of it!. She wasn’t the one who caused all of the village’s tragedies, She was just a kid.
“For the last time Cecilia! Go away!” Was always the other kids answers. She didn’t know why. “Come on Cecilia, we can’t sulk much longer. The sun’s position is changing…”
Clara’s kind words snapped Cecilia out of her sadness.
Clara.
She looked at the sweet vampyre hiding in the shadows, Cecilia’s only interaction with anyone was with Clara. And even then it wasn’t like she was really her friend. Being a vampyre and all, she had access to the lands beyond the village. And since Cecilia was ostracized from most of the village. She had no one to get things her basic essentials from. So she found the one non-human brave enough to get close enough to it, And tried for help one last time. Luckily it worked. Now she had some things to survive with. Like an abandoned house on the outskirts of town Clara had found and cleared all NH nests around it..
This was my second rewrite and god it was not looking good. So I've decided to scrap this and start anew.
