I’m bored, so I’m writing another one of these things today. Wow!! Good for you, Remmy. This is a kinda continuation of the previous entry, also about lip balm. And kissing. The day before Sirius and I formally started dating, I was applying, you guessed it, lip balm. Just sitting on my bed, reading a book and putting on some lip balm. Nice. Sirius walked into the room, took one look at me, and walked over. “What flavour is it?” he asked, pointing to the lip balm. “It’s orange marmalade.”
“Can I try it?” he said. He sat down on the bed next to me, taking my book from my hands. “Er, I guess?” I replied. It was a bit weird, but it’s what friends do, right? That’s what I thought, at least. I handed the lip balm to Sirius. He grabbed the cap from my bedside table, closed the tube, and just kissed me. Like, an actual kiss. Like, an I-love-you- not-as-a-friend kiss. Like, one hand on the neck, the other on the back, kiss. I just FROZE. When he moved away, I was no longer functioning. “Huh,” he said casually. “I think it tastes more like lemonade, actually.” THEN HE LEFT. He just walked out of the room. I… WHAT???
