Lorena or Lorea as they now called her sat still as the make-up team got busy doing her make-up for the final concert of her hugely successful world tour. She couldn't believe she was finally going to achieve her greatest ambition, she was sure the Royal Music Record company would sign her after this considering her manager had just informed her that the record head was here attending her final concert.
Too bad she was going to achieve her lifelong dream as someone else other than herself. She had the talent yet nobody had ever recognized it thanks to her twin sister Lorea who she has been impersonating for over four years now after her death. Lorena smiled wickedly remembering how she had staged her twin sister's death to look like she had committed suicide. Everyone thought that it was she Lorena who had died but little did they know she was here very much alive living her sister's life.
Lorena felt cold remembering her past life. How could she forget how her parents had always treated Lorea like the golden child,while she herself was tossed aside and deemed talentless and dull. While Lorea had excelled in everything,she on her part had excelled in nothing. Even the little music talent she had was seen as nothing compared to Lorea's powerhouse vocals.
Lorea had thrived and forgotten about her completely. She had gone and left her behind to suffer the torture and humiliation at the hands of their parents. Meanwhile she went on to pursue stardom.
Lorena had finally had enough. That's how she had come up with a solution that would rid her off of her menace. She had cut off her parents car breaks and sent them to their grave in what to many was a normal car accident. She had then taking the mourning period as her chance to get rid of Lorea. She had slit her sister's wrist and left her to die in what to all was a suicide.
She had then made it look like it was she who had died. Now everyone believed she was Lorea the new music star. How ironic that she had succeeded like this when previously they had all thought her talentless.
Pushing the dark thoughts aside she stood up to head on stage. She couldn't help but feel proud that the whole place was packed. She walked in adorned in glory ready to slay yet another performance. She had barely gotten halfway through her performance when she noticed that the crowd had gone silently still. Everyone was staring at something behind her and she turned around to see what had caught everyone's attention.
Standing right behind her was someone who looked exactly like her. No! This couldn't be, this isn't happening she tried to tell herself. Blinking once, twice and thrice Lorena realized that she wasn't seeing an image conformed by her imagination, the person in front of her was very much real.
"Hello beautiful sister, aren't you happy to see me?" The lady said and that is the last thing Lorena heard before she passed out.
Lorea was alive.
