I was taking my daily bus ride home and I was taking a nap as always. The bus jumped as it hit a bump and I awoke from my slumber. The bus instantly stopped out of nowhere, the bus driver just stared at me and I started getting uncomfortable so I got off. This wasn’t my stop, I was in the middle of nowhere in the woods. Remind you, it was 9PM and I was just returning from a school party. I looked back at the bus driver but he just looked straight at me with a pale terrified look and drove off. I was left alone with only my thoughts and the noises of the woods. I was afraid of the dark and I kept seeing shadows everywhere, some were human and some were not. I suddenly heard a voice not far from my location yelling “HELP!” I stood in horror. I ran to the “person” only to hide behind a tree immediately because the “person” who was yelling for help wasn’t a person at all. A skin walker. This creature didn’t look like a human one bit. Sure, he sounded like one, but this was like something out of a horror movie. I’d only ever heard of skin walkers in horror stories, never once did I think I would ever come across one. You know, you hear horror stories now and then and think that you’ll use them to protect yourself in the future, but in reality you know it’ll never happen because it’s usually the people telling the stories and never YOU. The skin walker started making this blood curdling scream that could make the bones of a mammoth shake. It sounded so inhuman and terrifying, my sweat ran cold. What if the skin walker saw me, sensed me? I suddenly felt a breath next my face, the skin walker had sensed me. He stared at me for 2 seconds and I heard a blood curdling scream again. He opened his mouth p immediately and everything after that went pitch black. I awoke at around 4AM, I was sweating really bad and my heart was beating. My sweat was cold, of course. I went to get a drink and came back to bed, I was giving myself time to think of what had just happened. I did not remember a single thing from last night, only the fact that I went to a school party but I don’t remember going home at all. I looked at my arm, there was a huge bite mark on it.
