It was a dark and chilly monday night and I was getting ready to end my shift but then I heard the bell ring so I went to the front and greeted the customer with a fake smile and said "what can I get you sir" and I noticed that the person seemed to be drunk.
I waited for him to answer or to tell his order but he didn't answer and stared blankly at me so I just walked in the back and shrugged him off as a drunk homeless man so I grabbed my bag and turned around,
then I noticed that the man had not left so I walked up to him kindly said "I am sorry sir but my shift is done so if want to order you will have to wait for the next worker",
the man stared at me but seemed to be a little annoyed by that so I quickly walked out the door and ran across the street and started to run towards the nearest bus stop,
while I was running I knew someone was chasing after me so I ran faster then before and finally reached the bus stop to realize that I had missed the bus so I waited for the next bus but noticed that the one I had missed was the last bus.
I looked down and kicked a pebble and watched it roll across the street and then down the street till it stopped at somebody's feet or somethings feet,
a cold sweat ran down my face but then a bus arrived and without thinking I got in swiped my card and ran to the back of the bus,
the bus was dim and dirty and also reeked of something rotten but I then the bus went so I grabbed my AirPods and put then on I sighed in relief ignoring the smell and my thoughts and took out my phone and looked at the time once more and it was 12:32 PM,
I opened my phone and before I could click Spotify I noticed a 3 notification on Messages so I opened Messages and saw 3 messages coming from an unknown number and curiosity got me so I click on the unknown contact and I instantly regretted what I done,
there was a image of what seemed to be what remained of a man,
the body was beaten up and dismembered from limb to limb and the blood dripping out,
at first sight I gagged and felt very sick but the more I looked at It I noticed that It wasn't some sick joke but a actual body of a man and I was closer and closer to throwing up so I put my phone down and closed my eyes trying to erase what I saw but the image was repeating in my head like it was taunting me,
to take my mind off the image I looked outside the window and could barely see anything but the gloomy presence of the dark and cold night.
I stared blankly out the window and slowly started to forget the horrid image and began to fall asleep,
I jumped up and was confused but opened my phone to check the time and it was 1:15 PM,
I stared out the window and noticed that the surrounding was trees and the bus wasn't even moving nor on a road so I walked up to the front and saw the dead body of the bus driver and a stab wound on his neck but a sharp foreign object,
now I was panicking and wondering where I was,
and knew my last hope was to use my phone to call for help,
I opened my phone and dialed 911 and after a while somebody picked up but something didn't feel right but now I was desperate so I didn't care and continued the call and a lady said "911 what is your emergency?" and I said "I am stuck in a bus in the middle of a forest " then the responder said "alright we sent in dispatch so please stay calm'.
I slowly started to calm down and reminded myself that they were going to rescue me but my curiosity got me again and I wondered around the bus looked for what might have killed the bus driver and if it was person who killed him,
I searched around and found some clues,
first the rear window near the front was shattered and some bloody remained,
second some of the blood was definitely going towards me but stopped half way and went to the front to the driver,
third the stab wound was to long to be a knife because the drivers neck was impaled by a spear or something that was sharp and long,
and lastly there seemed to be a claw on the floor that was fresh and still had blood on it if it was torn off not to long ago.
I picked it to see what type of animal it may have been but I was wrong,
I was very wrong because it wasn't a animals that could have done that nor a human but something far more terrifying and beyond thing us humans understand,
we weren't suppose to know of it's presence,
but before I could dig more deeper I heard the distinct sirens of a cop car and two officers escorted me to the car and they took me to station and asked a few questions but I didn't tell them of course because they would have taken me as a mad man or a psycho but I was neither but just an average man who seen something that was beyond comprehension,
something you'd never expect from a bus ride like this..
