Okay, I tried doing this as one or two ideas for a certain genre so here I go.
Horror
- a collection of short pieces of people doing ordinary activities but then making a small mistake and this leading to some sort of grusome death
Romance/tragedy
- A story about a person who decides they don't have enough friends and joins a program where you send letters to a person chosen randomly and the two get closer as you go but near the end where they might meet up the other person dies and the end is them being invited to the funeral where they are given a last letter from the other
Dystopia
- a world where there are different people who have special abilities. Some can fly, others are super strong and others create matter. But one day all the powers get taken by one person and the society has to earn back its powers by doing things like taking over other cities or doing really crazy things that slowly destroy them all.
Adventure/sci fi (?)
-There's a place on a separate planet from where the story is set which allows anyone to be healed forever by becoming their kind. The mc's family are suffering from a virus that has basically taken over the earth. So the mc takes their family and a few friends to this place where they interact with aliens and when they get there they think everything is magically healed but no. They landed on the wrong side of the plant where that's possible so they have to then travel through and encounter different things while trying to beat a virus slowly taking them over.
With this idea, you could probably get to do a lot of world-building if you like that type of stuff!
