On the continent of Erudores, in the ancient forest of Dorumdora home to many monsters, predators and other animals a young man called Rava goes through an endless cycle of painful training at the hands of his Father? Caretaker? Teacher? It has never been made clear for Rava.  Why does he go through it? That hasn't been made clear either. 

Note, this will be gritty high fantasy and I'll learn writing as I go along, this is my first serious attempt so there will be some mistakes and other shenanigans.
