Mom left an hour ago. I was home alone so I decided to catch up on some TV serials. I quickly popped a bag of popcorn into the oven and filled a glass with my favourite drink. Carefully holding the two, I headed towards the L-couch in the middle of our living room.

Making myself comfortable I placed the popcorn and my drink on the black coffee table and found a comfortable sitting position.

I was forgetting something, I told myself trying to remember what I was forgetting. "Ah! The remote!" I groaned as I left my comfortable sitting position to search for the remote.
Once I had finally gotten the remote, had my popcorn and drink and readjusted myself in a comfortable sitting position, I opened the tv and found a serial that caught my eye.
Binge-watching Tv serials while munching on popcorn was a heavenly feeling.
As I was about to start the third episode, I heard the door open. Dad must be home. I got up, brushed off the fallen popcorn from my lap and headed towards the door. I was just around the corner and was about to ask dad about the contest.
"Dad! I have a contest-" I said excitedly but the next sight washed all the excitement away in mere seconds. I felt rage building up inside me.
Dad was there. Standing in our doorway, with a lady whom he was holding by the waist. I had never seen her before and she was much younger than mom. She was dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt with a picture of Los Angeles. Her hair was in a neat ponytail and her face was fully caked with makeup.
"What. Is. Going On. Here!" I practically screamed with anger. I felt disgusted at my dad for his selfishness. He must have been waiting for the right opportunity to get mom out of the way. He must have been tired of her imperfections, her honesty, her loyalty, her care and everything she had ever done for him. I felt disgusted even calling him 'My Dad'.
I was going through a rollercoaster of emotions and I couldn't stop my tears from spilling like a waterfall. I probably looked like a mess but I didn't care. All I knew was that this man could not enter this house. He must leave. I can't stand his presence for even a minute more.
"GET OUT!" I screamed, making up my mind. "NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!" I said in my broken voice.
"Honey- Let me explain-" he struggled at trying to talk to me.
"No Need.!" I said. Wiping my tears with the back of my hand,
