Drowning

Me and my friend, Jack walked along a tree trunk, a gushing river below us. Jack had said it would be fun. I wasn't so sure but decided to follow. He was my best buddy. He promised to play Battle Royal afterwards. A gust of wind made me stumble and I cried out in fear. Looking up, Jack was gone. My belly swirled as I looked down in time to see a dark head bob down. I screamed. It was Jack. My vision blurred with tears as I ran home.
