    2028年，從加拿大流行一種疾病，沒人知道怎麼開始的。患者會變成吸食人血的怪物並力大無窮行動敏捷。這病迅速席捲全世界

        一年後人類所剩無幾，因為大部分的人已成吸血鬼，並且盤據城市晝伏夜出。

        倖存的大學生傑克和一眾夥伴們在芝加哥城的地下隱密避難所過著晝出夜伏的日子，並想著該如何生存下去或求援。但他們很快發現根本孤立無援無處可去，最糟的是他們也發現吸血鬼們漸漸地不怕日光開始白天出沒，逐漸壓縮他們的生存。時間越來越急迫，他們也越來越絕望。

        直到有天遇到一個倖存的天才科學家，一起發明出人類對抗吸血鬼的最後唯一利器—超能力血清。

      超能力賦予他們撼動吸血鬼大軍的力量。
