PG-13 for: Some Language and Dark Themes
This story's name comes from, well, what time it is currently. I've wanted to write this story for a long, long time, but I've never had the courage to do so because of the connections it has to things I've thought of in the past, and the fact that on other writing forums I used to visit, family had access. Here, I have an alias, and no one knows who I am. I can finally safely write this short story.
This story is about an unnamed teenager, aged 16, who sneaks out of his house and strolls the neighborhood very, very early in the morning, thinking about his life as he lies down in a spot he found in the forest he calls the Moon Spot. He falls asleep for a short time in the Moon Spot, and has a dream that changes his life.
Yes, I would like to say the main character is inspired off of thoughts I've had in the past, and things that have crossed my mind. But we are different people, and I have since won my battle with depression.
