Aspiring art historian, Annaliese Lenz, only wants to continue her late grandfather's research in medieval illuminated manuscripts. Unbeknownst to her, however, were the dangerous secrets unearthed within the pages, which throw Annaliese, and her new allies, into an equally dangerous world where wicked creatures will do anything to obtain those secrets.
