The elder community is, sadly, forgotten in our society.  Those in care facilities, nursing homes, or even if they live with you, are usually avoided, pitied, and alone.  

What's most common is heart-breaking; families that choose to never visit, or are to busy to, and their family-member is left alone to be taken care of by a stranger in a strange place.  

Write from the perspective of an older person, over the age of 80, and try to connect with their thoughts.  Are they lonely?  Do they miss what their life use to be?  Do they feel they've accomplished anything?

Anything and everything's allowed as long as it involves a person(s) over the age of 80 and shows their story.
