Write a myth

I’ve been interested in reading about ancient myths lately, mostly about fictional monsters. I don’t know why, but I am.

Your challenge is to write a myth about a made up monster. Give me details like its name, habitat, paranormal abilities it might have, how it came to be and stuff like that.

Rules:

Multiple entries are allowed

Obviously this is about monsters so it can be dark if you want
