Veera is one of the avian people who dwell in the comfort of the Great Tree. Its long limbs provide structure and stability to her kind. They've always dwelled within the branches, walked upon the thatched leaves, and given to the tree as it gave to them. Each citizen gave back in a unique way with the help of their life gift. Uncertain of her gift and its usefulness Veera gives back in the only way she knows how- at the outpost. Afraid of her future she puts it off until a threat to the Great Tree confronts her with no other option but to dive head first.
