A young boy who has a drunk as a father and a very sick mother, who can't get out of bed for months, is forced to take the lead and responsibility for the family, his younger sister included. Just before the horrors of poverty flush them out onto the streets he learns how to make chocolate and sell it in his community. This makes him a ton of money and hatred from the school bullies.

Just throwing some ideas
A story about a person trying to protect themselves because they always get bullied and they’re so vulnerable and don’t know what to do. Then they go out and meet someone new who didn’t bully them so the MC came to liking them and told their problems. The person offered them the unthinkable: Murder to avoid the MC thought it was crazy but eventually attempts to do so and gets away with it or not (your choice) and then they slowly overtime become more and more insane. This could be for a horror psychological plot.
