From afar, as she witnessed the bloodshed around her, she found it hard to stay silent, for fear of being caught and slaughtered. Her little sister, who was wrapped tightly in her embrace shuffled nervously when the sound of a sword slashing with another filled the night air. Her head whipped up and suddenly, she felt as if her breath had been knocked out of her.
In the distance, stood a horse with their father who they thought had died when the orks had attacked. Her little sister escaped from her tight embrace and ran towards him.
"Father!" she shouted.
But before she could get too close, their father received a blow to the chest, knocking him off his horse, which ran far into the darkness.
She panicked as she debated whether or not to retrieve her sister, putting her safety in danger. She bit her lip as she watched her little sister, frozen in her spot as she cried loudly. Tears ran down her face as she momentarily mourned the loss of their father. However, she could not waste her time crying─she had to escape whether she got her little sister or not.
As she reached the decision to get her sister, she felt someone holding her back.
"You─" she turned her head just in time to see the person who had grabbed onto her arm.
"Come with me."
