This one's a little like a story except it gets confused in the middle, and the other bits are confusing and random as well.
Date: 18th October
I dreamt that I lived on a beautiful island with my family, except it was a made-up family and not my actual family. It had crystal clear waters and sandy beaches and we lived happily. The only issue was, we lived in a world where there wasn't enough oxygen for everyone who lived in it, and only some people were allowed to breathe. I had a whole bunch of siblings, and the two youngest ones were about seven and they hadn't been allowed to breathe, so my mums (I had two mums even though I don't in real life) hired this guy they knew to smuggle my siblings away. One day, he brought them to visit us, and they were wearing hazmat kind of suits so they could breathe or something despite no-one else needing to wear them?
But, when the guy got there, he was standing at the end of a dock/pier kind of thing and he wanted to take me and my brother too. You see, we were twins (lots of twins in this family) who had just turned 15 and we weren't allowed to breathe anymore so he wanted to smuggle us away too.
Our mums agreed, but we refused! Well, I refused, then stared him down until he refused too, but we ended up doing it anyway. I have no clue what happened to my brother, I just forgot about him and he stopped existing.
I was in a submarine with the guy who was the expert at hiding kids except it was more like a car, and set into the seat in front of me was... maybe a fire? I don't remember, but whatever it was, it was the source of my oxygen so I could breathe while we were underwater.
I gasped. I had suddenly remembered what my friend had told me about this guy; he gives you eight piercings when you aren't looking. I accuse him of doing this to me, and he gets all shifty and reminds me that he's saving me right now.
Then the dream switches to a third person view. The smuggler guy comments on how the water around them is actually a reflection of my character's mind, and my character immediately starts to think of scary things by accident. It was like I was sitting in the car watching them panic as things almost hit the car/submarine (car-marine?), but I was completely calm - an impartial observer.
We almost died in that water. We were fine, though! Next thing I know, I'm walking along a snowy road with... my brother! Yes, he exists again now! Now, this bit makes no sense. There was some decking, made out flour, and a bucket of wood staining varnish thingymagigy. You could pick up a brush and paint the deck with the varnish in exchange for sleeping on the decking. Me and my brother were homeless and lost, so we thought it was a good idea.
Here is where the dream gets a little confused. Me and my brother don't exist anymore; we are replaced by a mother and her six year old son. I am the son.
My poor brother, he keeps coming in and out of existence.
I'm still painting this decking with my mum when this grouchy, mean old lady came over to us and got super mad that we planned to sleep on the decking because she was here first. She ended up framing my mum for something and she was arrested and taken to prison! Now, I'm about six so I'm going to die without her and I know that. I give a big inspirational speech to the lady, about how unkind that was and now I'm going to die because of it!
It worked! But I'm not the boy anymore; I am the lady. Full of remorse, I sprint down the mountain (I really can't explain where this mountain came from, I think it was because the flour made me think of snow and... boom, mountain) in search of the boy's mother. I stop when I see a lady with her child, and I gabble to her about a boy with a red coat up there on the mountain somewhere alone. She looks very concerned but I don't stop to think, 'Hey, maybe I shouldn't leave that child to freeze to death!' because I have to get the boy's mother to save him.
Then, my alarm went off, and I woke up confused.
