Cow skin. In another word leather. Used to make loads of stuff: bags, shoes, jackets, sheaths, car seats. It's rough, tough and durable. Did you know in some parts of the world, people eat it? I don't mean the dried, leather version; I mean kill the cow, scrap it for parts and cook the skin. I happened upon cow skin soup... It looks like normal soup with chunks of clear rubber, or silicone in it. I have no idea what it tastes like and was too taken aback to remember the smell. One day I'll try it...
