Sometimes front line just approaches the job differently. I went to a lab today. Walked in and greeted the receptionist; normally, front desk and sales people are like, "Hi, how can I help?" There I am, standing like an idiot for about a minute, waiting for her to say her little scripted piece, but she's just staring at me. I thought, give her a minute; her brain is probably processing something she read before I approached her. Then she hits me with, "You need a minute?"... What. We just laughed off the awkward silence and went on to business
