If I'm cooking, I'm cooking with a set number of people in mind. Basically, anyone in the house at the time or who indicated they're going to be eating. I generally welcome unannounced guests. But if you show up unannounced and expect to be fed, you are sadly mistaken! I will not reduce my serving or anyone else's to make a plate for you. No sir!
