Nicknames. There are civil ones like Bill, Bobby, and Walt. Then there are ones like Bullet head, Fish skin, and Cat eyes. Growing up, nicknames were like superhero names. My family always said not to answer to nicknames because people will never remember your real name. I've had several over the years: Oreo, Coke, Taffy, Sniper, Sarge, and Diplomat. First three were due to excessive consumption of said snacks in High school. My college friends called me Sniper, and some professors called me Sarge. Funny enough, Diplomat is the nickname my family gave me when I first started working.
