Wait for me

The silence left in your wake

                         suffocates

                                             me

        takes me

                                 prisoner

squeezes    my     heart   

until it cannot beat -

         yet it does, while yours does not 

                      silent

                      dormant

                      lost

                      frozen, with no cold in sight,

                      your eyes don't see anymore.

                      I'm not sure how to go on

           without your hand in mine.

I beg, on my knees,

wait for me

                     to join you.

Don't go.
