Once upon a time, on a cold windy day a baby girl was left on a small porch. No one saw the mysterious women leave her child there, no one wanted to either. The girl had beautiful blacks eyes and dark pink hair that had a small blue, yellow, and green feather in her hair. The porch was of the king himself, but who answered it was the 12 year old prince. His name is Charlies, his bright green eyes looked down at the child in surprise. He pulled the bed into the lobby of his home, making his way to his room. His parents were still sleeping when he found the child, placing the basket on his bed he looked down at her.
" what a beautiful little girl, who would want to give her away" a female spoke as she flew onto the boys bed
" Thalia be quiet we can't wake up my parents" he muttered at the small golden dragon
" Its true though, I wonder who her mother is" the dragon looked down at the child blinking her light pink eyes.
" I want to know as well" he muttered picking the girl up in his arms.
She was about 7 years old, he mother had put a spell on her to keep her a couple months old. Charles was amazed how perfect the spell was, he couldn't even move water. He set her down and let her sleep.
10 years later...
The day of the princes 22 birthday, people were crowded around tables as he sat in front with his mother and father. The little girl he found was sitting next to him, he named her Macy. By now she was 17 years old, she only liked talking to the prince. They were like siblings even though their not.
" hey Charlies when will this finish" she asked tilting her head at the crowded hall of people
" I'm not sure, Thalia was supposed to tell my parents I have training" he groaned rubbing his eyes open
" I'll go check" she smiled and ran off to his parents
A small smile appeared on his lips, watching her skip over to his parents he leaned back in his chair. Thalia sat on his shoulder and rolled her eyes, a chuckling chirp came from her beak. Once Macy came back he stood up, ruffling his hair he walked outside for some fresh air. His magic teacher was going to be mad at him for being late. Macy followed next to him, she was at least a head shorter then he. Her pink hair was lifted by the breeze, her feathers did the same. Her dark black eyes were becoming lighter every time she stepped into the light.
Walking around a corner they were face to face with the teacher, he didn't look happy. Charles explained it and the teacher laughed and new it all along. Charles sighed in relief and followed him, today was Macy's first lesson on how to change into a dragon. When she was only 12 years old she transformed into a Midnight Dragon without telling anyone. Charles was the only one who new about this, he liked being the only one to know her secrets.
" Okay Macy, you can do this" Charlies patted her head before sitting down on a bench.
She nodded and calmed her breathing down. The teacher let her do it herself this time, she was nervous but she need to do it. Charles leaned back in his seat and watched her carefully. Thalia was watching as well, she was scared the female would not be able to control her dragon form.
After a couple of minutes Macy started to chant words, a dark mist covered her body. It grew larger before you saw a black dragon with grey spots on its back. Her wings stretched out, she roared as her eyes were changing different colors. From black to red, the color red resembled that she wasn't in control of her dragon. Charles bit his bottom lip, she wasn't doing any better then before. The teacher didn't know what to do, he tried stopping her with magic but she tripped him with her tail. Her snout blew smoke as she flapped her wings, she lifted off the ground and crashed the building into itself. She felt away without the teacher trying to save her.
Charlies on the other hand was running for his life after her, Thalia grew to her normal size for him. He jumped on top of her and followed the darkened trees and bushes she created as she flew. After following the path for a while they came to a cave, it was big enough for a couple of dragons to fit in. Thalia landed and let Charlies off, he slowly walked in to see a girl crying. Macy was on the floor, her knees were against her chest. Her hair covered her face, Charlies stood in front of her.
" Hey Macy, you did fine" he soothed
" no I did't, I failed" she yelled looking up at him
" Not to me, you were amazing" he crotched down and caressed her cheeks
" I'm always amazing to you, why is that" she gave a small blush towards him
" I guess its called love" he replied and sat down
She didn't respond, she was too shocked to answer this time. Her tears fell down her cheeks even more. Charles bit his bottom lip and tired to think. He nodded his head and lifted her chin, giving her a weak smile he let his lips touch hers. Her tears started to stop, her lips kissed back. He let go after a while and smiled.
" You better now baby girl" he cooed playing with her hair.
