_ Tempest _
Nightmares. The biggest enemy of my own mind, but the brain itself is also a villain in many ways. It can trick you into thinking you're worthless, and that you don't even matter to anyone. Though, the biggest problem and how the mind creates nightmares so that you can react to those moments again. When I was told yesterday that Aloe abused me even before Purity lost herself, that just ... that just made my brain create so many thoughts to try and convince me that my life as a non-enchanter is worthless and that I should have become an enchanter like the rest of my family.
I don't ever want to, but there's a voice deep down inside of me. A child voice that is saying that I wished to become one. But I don't want to. I don't want to become what Aloe was and how she planned all of this.
We did go to my mom yesterday and told her to put a barrier to where Aloe doesn't come in anymore to the colony. What we told her, only half of it since I was ... fainting in and out for whatever reason. I don't know, it felt like I was drifting in and out of reality again. I don't know why that keeps happening. Mother was mad to no end about Aloe, but she focused her attention on me. I kind of wish she didn't ... I kind of wish everyone would ignore me and leave me behind, but they don't, and now, I'm sort of half glad for that.
I turned to the feather in between my two fingers, swirling it around like it was a prize reward I'd gained from this action. The action in question wasn't a good one, nor was it a bad one either. The feather itself was painted with lilac coloring- the same as my hair color. Soon followed were swirls that fade from a blue towards where the feathers suppose to stick to the wings, all the way into a violet color. Blue spots were around it as I stared at the feather, giving it an empty look. I gazed over at my other feathers on the floor, giving them the same look. I used to admire these feathers in my youth, always protective over them as I never let anyone touch them. But ... nowadays, I don't do that anymore. Sometimes ... just sometimes, I wish I never had these patterns on my feathers in the first place.
They're a curse that Aloe found interesting.
I shut my eyes, letting a quiet sigh through my nose. I opened my eyes back up and glanced around the floor of my room, inside the house that never echoed outside of its walls to help me. I was leaning against the side of my bed, staring at each feather that I have plucked from my wings. They lay still on the floor until I wanted to shuffle them underneath my bed if someone spotted them. I should do that right now so that I can save them for later.
Why do you keep doing this? A voice asked me in my head. You're free now. Aloe doesn't have a grasp on you. It continued. ... I ... I don't think I'm quite free of this. I still think I have a job to do and that job is to ... to ...
My thoughts trailed off as I watched memories flash into my head. I saw a young version of me, holding out feathers to an adult who was smiling with a toxic warmth. The young me was smiling with pride and joy, though there was a sign of pain on my face. The adult grabbed the feathers, glancing up at them and admiring them before looking down at the young me. "I wanted more than four, Castit." The adult spoke, oddly sounding a lot like Aloe. Maybe it is her but my mind placed a black dot on her face.
"But ... but ... it hurts." The young me whimpered. I saw the child yelp when the adult grabbed his throat, holding him up in the air before dropping him.
"But you don't want to make me upset, little one. Do you? I want more than four Castit. I cannot keep doing this to you."
"... But ... but ... then I won't be able to ... to ... fly like the others-"
"But! Don't you want to make me happy? Make me more powerful than the others? That is the only way you'll ever get loved." The adult interrupted, kicking the young me down onto the ground. Small feathers of mine scattered around as the young me whimpered.
"Can't ... Can't we do another way? ..T-This ... this hurts, Aunt Aloe."
I shook my head, trying to pull myself out of the memories. I rubbed my head, trying to wipe them all away. But my attempts made no changes, they kept trekking through, showing me the beatings I saw. Stop... Stop it brain, I don't need ... to be reminded if I stop ... pulling my feathers out. Soon blood spattered on the floor and I heard a shriek of agony that froze my entire body in place. My eyes went wide as I held my head with my hands. I had my hands over my ears, thinking I heard it outside of the memory.
It continued on and on and on ... making the room around me turn black with blood occasionally shooting out to scare me once or twice. Soon, I could feel panic rushing throughout my body. What ... what is--- I winced at the breath I took in. I was gagging on my own breath, while I tried to breathe at the same time. But I couldn't when it felt like sharp needles were stabbing my lungs. I think ... I felt myself standing up before I collapsed onto the voided floor. ... What- What is going on?! Why can't I breathe all of a sudden?!
I could feel everything race within me, along with the fast pacing of my breathing as I felt weakness, along with the vision fading slowly. I lay there for what felt like an eternity, thinking I was going to pass out. But no. I was feeling something faintly there, something ... that was trying to calm me down. The location was on my back and I question why it was there. As I focused on that fainted sensation, I heard another one, and this time it was blurred voices. They were making noises but I couldn't quite hear them clearly.
I lay there confused, still not moving an inch. ... Why am I hearing this? As I listened to the noises and the feeling on my back, more senses came back and soon the void around me faded away, returning back to the room that I was once in. I blinked with wide eyes, slowly sitting up before wincing from the breath I took in. "Take in slow breaths, you were doing so well there. Don't stop doing it." I heard the voice clearly this time, making me subconsciously nod my head. I lay there on the floor, focusing on my breathing as I shut my eyes.
Moments passed as I was about to fall asleep until I told myself to wake up and question what just happened. I opened my eyelids with force and sat up quickly. I looked around before landing my gaze on a humanoid who sat next to me with a worried expression. "... You okay now?" Neptune whispered softly.
I slowly turned my head away from him, nodding my head. I noticed the feathers on the floor, freezing in place. Did he see them?
"... Good because I would like to ask a question about the mess I just saw."
Shit, he did. "No thanks." I breathed, avoiding his gaze. I got up to my feet and proceed to kick the feathers underneath the bed. I flinched when my wrist was grabbed, pulling me away from the bed. I turned my head over to Neptune and glared at him.
He glared back at me. "I'm not doing this again, Tempest." ... Tempest ... I forgot I was called that for a moment.
"What is it to you? This is not your business to be involved." I hissed, trying to get my wrist freed from him. It is not, it's always mine and it's always a thing I must do. But he had a tight grip on it as he was not letting me go anytime soon. He narrowed his eyes at me with his ears pinned against his hair. He turned and began to drag me away from the spot, around the bed, and over to the door. "Hey! Where are you taking me?!" I asked, hissing and trying to pull back. "Answer me!"
"Taking you to a wonderful bath." He responded, continuing to pull me as I stopped my struggles, blinking with confusion. He pulled me through the hallway, helped me climb up the staircase, and guided me over to the bigger bathroom we had in the house. He then shoved me in there and left. I blinked repeatedly before slowly turning towards the doorway, tilting my head. "... Bath ... bath--- Wait, Why are you forcing me to take a bath?!" I called after him but didn't get a response back. I sighed through my nose, giving up. Great. He's not backing off this time around. I kind of wish he did.
I shook my head slightly before turning and staring at the bathtub, slowly walking over to it. The bathtub itself was big, big enough to put both of my wings in. ... You know what, a bath doesn't seem like a bad idea after all. It's ... been a while since I took one. Wait. I flinched when the door was closed, making me turn towards it. I spotted some fresh clothes that were placed near the door. ... Is he ... saying that I should wash my feathers? What purpose would that be?
I sighed through my mouth before turning back to the bathtub. I sat down and grabbed the rim of the tub, turning over to the ... thing. I don't know what it is called. There was a smaller thing on top of it and I think it's used to ... turn on the water. I leaned forward and grabbed the smaller thing, twisting it as I flinched back from the water pouring in with a fast touch. I blinked at it before staring down at the hole in the tub where the water was going in. I tilted my head at the blocker, leaning forward to put it into the hole. I flinched back from the temperature, though, at the same time, I successfully put the blocker in the hole. And now, the tub was filling up slowly.
I tapped the rim of the tub, leaning against my elbows as it rested on it. I watched the tub slowly fill up. Is this the part where I take off my clothes? I blinked at the water and then at myself. I mean ... I think that's how baths work. I recalled memories in my mind where there was a river full of ... nude feaolks. Oh. That is not a good memory to remember, too traumatizing. Anyway, it's ... kind of where the feaolks would bath in and stuff ... in a public area ...
I felt shivers crawling up my spine at quick speeds. I'm glad these ... 'bathrooms' are invented to use for privacy. I like my privacy, thank you very much. I breathed in and out, beginning to take my clothes off. Once I did, I slowly got into the tub, flinching at the touch of the warm temperature before adjusting to its wake. I sat in the tub, reposting myself to a comfortable spot before waiting for a few minutes for the tub to fill up. ... Maybe up to my waist or ... halfway should be good enough. I waited for that level and once it reached there, I leaned over to the smaller thing and twisted it off, which was to the right.
I leaned back and stared at the water. I blinked and turned over to the sink, staring at the cabinets as I feel like I was missing something. I frowned as I looked back into that memory. They ... used things to wash themselves ... right? I pulled myself out of the memory and stared at the cabinets, grumbling quietly. Too late! I turned away and lifted up my wings, scooting away from the rim of the tub. I spread them over the water and put them halfway down. I tilted my head at some of my feathers that were loose. I reached over and grabbed one of them, pulling it out casually before taking a look at it.
I stared at the other loose ones, having the urge to pull them all out. No. I'm supposed to wash them ... with my hands ... I guess. I placed the feather on the water's surface and turned to figure out how to do this.

...
I flinched at the sound of the door opening behind me as I jumped in the water. I panicked and immediately hid behind the bathtub's curtains that were proved there. I grabbed it and covered myself up before shouting: "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!"
I hissed when Neptune snorted. "Right ... I forgot you could be one of those folks ... who don't like it when people walk on you naked." He spoke quite casually as if he had done this daily, which makes me assume that's how he scared off the last roommate. "To be honest, I think it's fine for me."
"OF course, IT IS TO YOU." I snapped. "WHEN ARE YOU LEAVING?!"
"... Aren't you rushing me." He said as I saw a shadow on the other side of the wall approaching slowly. "... Annnnd you're hiding."
"BECAUSE YOU'RE IN THE BATHROOM, IDIOT."
"Jeez, I'm the idiot for being in here? I basically just want to help." He offered.
"If you want to help, STAND OUTSIDE OF THE BATHROOM." I hissed.
"That's not helping, Tempest. I also came into the bathroom just in case you had any ideas to continue plucking out your feathers." He grunted.
I froze up before looking over at the floating feather in the tub. Well, you were too late. I breathed before glaring over at the shadow. "... I guess you have a point," I grumbled.
There was silence before it was broken again. "... I'm glad I came in before you continued." He said as I assumed he saw the floating feather.
"... Why didn't you allow me to---"
"Why I didn't? Excuse me, I would love it if I don't have to look at my friend's wings being all torn apart by his own hands. That is why I didn't want it to happen a second time when I saw it. But I bet you've done it before in the past, just in secret." He interrupted me and answered my question. I saw his shadow go down. I guessed he was sitting as I could see a tail slithering into the water. I keep away from his sight, narrowing my eyes. "Can I ask why you like to do that or is it too personal?"
I stayed quiet as I hugged my legs to myself tightly. "... Okay, personal. I won't ask anymore. But ... it'll be nice--- wait. Do you hate people looking at you naked?" He asked.
"You finally realized." I hissed.
"Sorry! My brain is slow." He said sadly, sounding guilty.
I rolled my eyes, "So. I'll ask again, when are you leaving?" I asked before getting a thought in my head. "... Or are you here to ..."
"Wash your feathers?" He finished. I made a disgusted look at first before dropping it slowly.
"Do you know how to wash feathers?" I asked. I am going to regret this if I ask him about it.
"You don't know how to?"
"Answer my fucking question." I hissed.
"Okaaay, I do. I read about it a few weeks back and ... well, I was wondering if you, a feaolk, wash yours too." He answered. "Like the others."
"I don't because I deem it useless," I grumbled.
"... That's not very clean of you. I think you should." He spoke. At this point I was peeking from the curtains, glancing over at the shadow on the wall. "Besides, a benefit from a bath can make you feel refreshed from any stress you have."
"... Taking baths has... traumatized me to the point ... I ... kind of sucked ... cleaning myself," I said quietly. "I'm sure you read in the book that feaolks ... take public baths."
"Nope."
"..." I turned over to the curtains, widening my eyes.
"I didn't know that. I thought since feaolks were one of the advanced folks to actually have privacy, but I guess they don't." He said. I gripped the curtains tightly, revealing my head, and turned over to look at him. He was staring down at the water, playing with his tail in it. "So ... I assumed you guys ..."
"Claim a river and ... lots of us go there and bathe there." I finished his sentence. "I don't--- ... it scared me as a little kid."
"... I supposed so ..." He nodded slowly, looking at the walls of the bathroom. I narrowed my eyes, realizing what he was doing. He's ... avoiding looking at me because of my uncomfortableness of this. I ... I never realized that until now. "Sooo ..."
"... Fine. You can wash my feathers if you're asking that." I said.
He snorted as I shot him a glare. "That seems like you wanted me to do them."
"I don't know how to." I shrugged.
"Alright. Scoot back over here." He said, turning away. I frowned slightly before letting the curtains go. I breathed in and out, lowering my legs and moving back over to the spot I was in. I turned to my left wing, lifting it up and close to the edge of the bathtub. The bathtub was several inches from the door, so ... that's probably why I hid behind the curtains over to my left. I waited there patiently with my right-wing covering most of my body. I stared down at the water, feeling a little guilty a sudden.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"Close to evening, Not even close to almost time to go." He answered, feeling his presence close as I shivered. "We still have some time left to get prepared and all of that."
"... Do we have to go to the festival?" I asked.
"Yes. We do." He answered. "You don't mind if I touch your wings?"
"If I ask you---"
"I'm asking because you might flinch from my touches on them." He interrupted me.
I turned my head over to him who was on my right. I looked confused, glancing over at my wing as I realized I had the right-wing up and not the other way around. I stared at them before having a flash of memories coming in, making me see a glimpse of someone touching my wings without my consent. I slowly nodded, looking a little uncomfortable.
"I'll be more gentle than the last one who ... dared to touch your wings without your permission." He promised as I snickered.
"Dared," I repeated what he said. "You make it sound like you're gonna get on their ass about this."
"I might if I find them." He snickered before grabbing the flight ones first with gentle touches. "And then I'll ask them a whole lot of questions."
"Well, if you want to know who has done such a thing, Aloe is your target," I told him.
"Of course." He shook his head. "Should have guessed anyway." I watched him use some ..., I squinted my eyes as I stared at the small block with confusion. "This is soap." He said, catching me staring. Oh. I nodded slowly, looking at it curiously as he rubbed his hands with it before putting it down and going over to my flight feathers and scrubbing gently all around. I tilted my head, watching with interest. I flinched from his snort. "I suppose ... Eastern Feaolk Colony doesn't have soap to wash their citizens' bodies?"
"What did you expect? Something advanced?" I asked.
"I'm just wondering how you guys survived to adulthood." He wondered.
"... I don't know the answer." I shrugged. "Shouldn't you be the same way with your lifestyle?"
"Not really." He answered. "As I was ... particularly "raised" by Sparrow, I sometimes use what the humans use. Advanced stuff."
"That explains the assumptions. But ... I am a bit surprised you ... are fine with nude folks." I said quietly.
"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine with it, though I have a neutral view of it. I don't really care for it." He said, tilting his head slightly. "... It is natural ... as you see animal forms naked all of the time. But ... I get it, there are some folks out there that may cover up their humanoid bodies like yours. And that's perfectly fine."
"Glad you're different from Setchi," I grumbled, remembering that last conversation with the nudity topic.
"... I assumed a dragon like him says clothes are unnecessary." He guessed.
"Yep." I nodded, feeling more relaxed. "I don't hate him for his own opinions on it, it's just ... I don't want to have it sound like an excuse to hate people who like to be nude."
"You're perfectly fine. If something that young terrified you, then look away." He said.
"Or deal with it," I mumbled quietly.
"... Yeah... that too." He nodded his head slowly.

...
"Are you glad that Aurora removed both of Aloe's enchantments off of you?" He asked.
"... No because one of them was useful for whenever she is here," I grumbled.
"But at least ... you won't throw up blood." He said quietly.
"... Yeah..." I said quietly, looking away from him.
"... Errr, this ... this might be another personal question I'm asking but ... I'm curious as to why Aloe messed with your feather wings before." He spoke, jumping onto another topic.
I frowned slightly and gazed over to the other walls. I rubbed my knees under the water, debating if I should tell him or not. It ... won't hurt to tell. "... Aloe ... wanted to use those feathers to shift them into an adult-sized feather for her own. To replace her own feathers with mine. She ... made the young me rip out my feathers and give them to her. Sometimes the pain would be unbearable and she'll punish me for not giving her more than the amount I can give her. Since then, I've been doing it out of habit." I said.
"Why?" He asked, sounding cold to the touch.
"I..." I trailed off, remembering that conversation with my mother about my father. I blinked as I looked back over at him. "... It's--- ... what did they look like again?" I asked.
He snorted as I glared at him. "They're ... spotted swirls ..." He widened his eyes, "Pretty."
"Oh shush," I grumbled, rolling my eyes.
"Hey, they're pretty to look at, okay?" He smirked.
"Fine, they are to you." I pointed at him before lowering my finger. "They probably looked like my father's but ... when I look at it deeper ... I think ... my mom said those types of patterns were the marks of an ancient feather or ... ancient feaolk in your terms. Which means ... I have all of the abilities of a feaolk."
He widened his eyes at me, nodding his head. "Oh. Must be running in the family since feather patterns are genetic."
"My dad has those patterns soo ... yeah," I said, tilting my head. "I kind of want to find him."
"Right. Your father." He said, halting his job before turning towards me with curious eyes. "Do you even know where he is?"
I turned my body around, facing the rim of the tub and resting my arms on it as I answered his question. "Yes. Infact, I do." I said confidently. He narrowed his brows, leaning back as I continued. "You remember when we read about the leaders and the colonies?"
"Yeah, and do you remember where they hid their colonies with their own magic?" He asked, furrowing his brows.
I frowned at that information coming back to me, looking down. "Shit forgot about that one."
"Yeah. We can't find your father if we can't find the Western Feaolk Colony." He said.
I grumbled quietly, remembering a piece of what my mother said about him. "Well ... eventually we have to. There have to be hints left behind in the colony. And the hints would be ... wind elemental powers."
"Wind Elementals use the wind, I doubt you will find hints." He said, narrowing his eyes.
"If you can feel the wind moving in a controllable way, then you can find them there." I pointed out, grinning widely.
He blinked at me, nodding. "Trueee... I guess I can't argue with that."
I tilted my head, resting it on my hand as my elbow rested on the rim of the tub. It had more flat surfaces for me to lean on. "Do I tell you my dad was a Wind Elemental or not?"
He blinked at me with surprise. "Whoops, I already did." I snorted. "There. I've been waiting to tell anyone that since I discovered that."
"... So ... Both you and Purity have wind elemental ... blood running through both of you?" He asked, tilting his head.
"... I guess." I shrugged. "Neither of us are wind elementals so yeah."
He squinted his eyes as if he didn't believe my word. "... Lying Detector ability isn't part of the feaolk abilities." He said.
"... So? What's your point?" I asked.
"... I don't know if I told you or anyone told you that Elementals have powers alongside their element powers." He told me.
"I'm not a Wind Elemental, that's impossible!" I said.
"YOUR DAD IS A WIND ELEMENTAL."
"So? Isn't the chances of being a wind elemental low?" I asked, staring at him.
"You HAVE A ABILITY THAT ISN'T RELATING TO FEAOLKS AT ALL."
"SO? Carla has an ability that allows her to see visions and yet SHE'S not an elemental!." I said, glaring at him.
He stared at me with a deadpan expression. "OKAY. If SUDDENLY, your wind powers come up and you freak out. DON'T COME RUNNING TO ME when it HAPPENS." He grunted, pinning his ears down.
"Does this means you will glow again?" I asked, blinking with curiosity.
"... So you did see me on that night." He said, giving me a death glare.
"Yeah."
"Well. I've been in here long enough to hear this." He said, standing up.
"Wait--- You're leaving?"
"You wanted me to go." He said, turning and walking over to the door.
"... But ... I kind ... of ... don't want you to go," I said quietly with a shy expression. He halted and turned towards me, raising his brows.
"I won't leave the house, Tempest." Neptune--- No. No. It's SEIRO. Fuck. I forgot his real name was Seiro, ugh.
"... I meant ... here..." I said quietly, frowning and turning away from him.
"Wow. You became comfortable with me within seconds of seeing you nude." He smirked.
"Get out."
He burst out laughing before exiting the bathroom. He shut the door and I could still hear him laughing on the other side. You have done yourself, you damn fox. Ugh, even when I try to do something so nice, HE COMES and ruins it. Ugh. Remind me to not be nice to him ever again.
Moments later, I was out of the tub, removing the blocker and draining all of the water. It was long and hard to dry off each of my feathers before I dried off my body. I soon dressed up in the clothes that Seiro dug out. It was hard to get the shirt on as the zipper on the back was giving me problems. Eventually, I gave up when the zipper was halfway up. I shot the mirror a glare but soon dropped it when these clothes felt comfortable. He didn't get the right size, but ... bigger sizes are much more comfortable to be in instead of my regular size. I glanced over at my dirty clothes, grabbed them, and headed out of the bathroom. I placed them in my room before heading on over to the living room. I approached the couch and leaned on it, flinching and standing up straight from a sound in the back.
... I wish I didn't have to wear zipper shirts.
I glanced over at the table, spotting some crackers on it as I tilted my head. I immediately jumped from a zipper sound as I turned and almost wacked Seiro in the face with one of my wings. He moved out of the way and I wished he didn't dodge. "Don't do that!"
"Say "thank you."" He said.
I glared at him as he grinned at me. "... Thank you, you annoying furball."
He snorted and walked over to the table. "Second laugh of the day!"
"Why do you LIKE TO BOTHER ME?!" I hissed, watching him.
"Because you're fun to be around." He answered, picking up the crackers, and turned over to me. He padded back to me and handed them to me. "This shouldn't let you throw up. I think ... as long as you eat less and not the average size, I think you should be fine."
I stared at them before grabbing them from his hands. "I don't like you." I joked.
He snorted. "Awww, I like you too~" He charmed which failed once again. He walked over to the kitchen as I put one cracker in my mouth, eating it quietly. "Also it's like 30 minutes until night of 8 ... so ... I think ..."
"... what." I turned over to him as he stared at me from the kitchen with a panicked expression.
"Yeah. I'm going to get ready. I'm sure the others are waiting." He retreated away to his room as I blinked. I turned away and sighed, continuing to eat my cracker quietly. I stared at one spot in the glass door, tilting my head. Why would you need to get ready for a festival? I shrugged and focused on the yummy cracker. I finished the crackers a few minutes later, making sure I was clean or whatever before exiting my room and over to the living room. Also, I tried to find the feathers on the floor and the ones underneath my bed and it seems like he took them all.
I don't know if I should be mad or glad that he did that. I have mixed feelings about that one.
I stood by the couch, looking over to the doorway as I turned over to the annoying furball who was walking out of his room and over to me. I raised a brow when he was wearing something. I turned and walked over to the entrance. "WAIT---"
"I mean, you're done, right?" I asked.
"I am but I was wondering if you think I look nice." He said, following after me.
"Why?" I asked, opening the door and leaving it wide open for him to enter behind me.
"... Do I?" He asked as I halted, staring at him. He had a frown on his face as he stood perfectly still. He was wearing a necklace that had a stone that shimmer gem-like shine. It was blue-green, moving slightly to the nervous movements he kept making.
I gazed up at him, nodding."You look nice."
He pinned his ears before perking them back up. "Alright, we can go."
"Are you getting yourself a date?" I asked, continuing to walk forward.
"A date? Pfft. I wish with the one I love, but unfortunately no. I am not." He answered, following behind me. We crossed the bridge and into the residential area as we talked. The evening night was peaceful as there were fewer people in the residential area.
"With the one you love?" I asked, wondering who that would be. Probably a wololk like him or a foxolk, whichever he prefers.
"Yep! But I know he doesn't love me back and it's ... kind of ... sad that he doesn't but ... I don't mind. We can remind as friends." He spoke, sounding a little sad. "Anyway, are you excited to have fun?"
"No. I am not." I grumbled.
"Aw, why not?"
"... It's ... it's because it's been a while since I had fun. The last time that I did was with ... when I was with my father." I responded, looking down at the wooden floor. The memories of my father and the young me were coming in, making me tell the tales of them out loud. "... I was--- I remember being a tiny leopard as I was spilling out the broken language. I swear, my first time speaking in an animal form was annoying." I said, smiling softly. "My dad was a bit too busy laughing at me and I just hated him for it. But lucky, I got to scare him when he brought back a special collar that allowed my leopard form to change its pelt colors into a black leopard. Gosh ... I miss him."
"We will find him, Tempest," Seiro told me, walking alongside me.
"I know." I nodded, breathing in and out. I looked over to the entryway of the residential area, seeing no one that I know there. "They're not here."
"Then we will go without them." He said. "I... don't think we decided the split groups thing all the way."
"Yeah... I'm all in for adding another one to our group." I said.
"Awwww, you're really no fun if you don't want to be the only one near me." He said, pretending to be sad.
"I DON'T want to be teased CONSTANTLY by you," I said, glaring at him.
He snorted. "But it's funnn~"
"To you, you damn flirt," I grunted.
He chuckled some more as he turned red. He looked away from me as he had a shy smile. I raised my brows, questioning his blushing. I thought for a moment before shaking my head. That can't be right, but ... this isn't false at all. What he feels is true and it's ... confusing.
I don't know. Let me focus on the festival rather than figuring out if Seiro has a crush on me or not.
