由是起於興趣，及滿足自己的幻想。後來字數到某一個量，就想出書留作紀念。

本書主要想讓忙碌的人，也有辦法花點時間閱讀，所以是以短篇的方式寫成。長度較適合坐車、上廁所或睡前閱讀，比起一次得看完的長篇更容易消化。


企畫案編寫：

◆緣起：當我看完艾勒里．昆恩的「Z的悲劇」時，也希望創造一個角色能以中國文化為背景的偵探（那本書的主角是喜歡引用莎士比亞名句的偵探），在仔細思量下，覺得古人在測字時，皆善觀來人氣色，加上自行推理而成。正好符合需求。又因為看了ＣＳＩ此類美國影集，覺得警方辦案有一定的資源和方法，能產生一種公信力，所以又加上了警方的角色。
