當年我對一個位於美國三藩市的音樂家John H. Clark甚為著迷，他的音樂揉合了經西班牙佛朗明戈（Flamenco），搖滾和古典元素，是相當獨特的風格。John H. Clark的名曲有The Most Evolved， Pursuit of The Cygnus Thief，Aurora Borealis等，其中The Most Evolved為其成名作。以我所知，John偶爾還在三藩市 39號碼頭即場演出。

在那些年間，因為John的音樂我對結他深感興趣，直接借了教會的結他自學，上網找到他的樂譜來就從零自學到可以演奏自娛。樂理和其他結他基礎指法還是兩年後才從教會弟兄身上後補回來的。

這一位啓發我嘗試演奏的音樂家，也促成了我對這個短篇故事的嘗試。
