My thoughts as a writer with Gen 5 of My Little Pony. I haven't gotten through the movie yet nor watched the special that aired as I don't have Netflix anymore and haven't hit the seas to look that special up. Anyways! Enjoy my random outsider view for what could had been added or tweaked to possibly help the series fit what it was marketed as: A bridge between Generation 4 into Generation 5, set in the same world as Generation 4 as we want to explore that world more.
