It was morning, peaceful and quiet, or so I thought when I woke up.
“YOU ARE SO CRAZY YOU *beeep* IDIOT!!!” Screamed a voice.
“I’m an idiot?!” Another voice screamed.
“GUYS!!! STOP FIGHTING!!!” Screamed another voice.
I stood on the floor and got in my clothes, then I looked into the mirror that I bought, finally taking a good look at myself.
I screamed so loud, my hair was completely white, my eyes were still the same thankfully, but my face was completely pale. What did Slithers DO?!
“What’s going on?!” Slithers barged in, armed with a pan.
Sherlock and Tori came in, Sherlock was wearing bee pajamas and holding her trident while Tori was wearing cute pig Minecraft pattern pajamas and holding a nuke, where did Tori get a nuke?!
“SLITHERS!!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!” I yelped and I turned around, some white streak hair got in the way.
“Uhhhh…” Slithers trailed off.
“We know what happened,” Tori explained, armed with her nuke and aiming it at Slithers.
“TORI!! NO!” I jumped in and pulled the nuke away from her.
“But I wanted to explode pancakes,” Tori said.
“What?!” I asked.
“That’s what she calls Slithers, she calls him the bad type of pancakes,” Sherlock explained.
“Guys, let’s just take down camp.” I sighed.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
“I’m gonna stay here, in case you were wondering.” Slithers plopped down on the tent floor.
I folded my arms, “I think it is best if Sherlock and Tori leave.”
They both nodded, clearly knowing I was probably gonna slap the underworld out of Slithers mouth.
“See ya, wouldn’t wanna be ya Slithers!” Tori waved goodbye and left with Sherlock.
I began to pack up and ignored Slithers.
I first picked up my first aid kit, then my phone, then clothes, then finally, my family photo.
I stared at the photo for a long moment, I was getting homesick, I missed my family and friends.
Yeah, you may think I am being weak and stupid but if you left home for a long couple of days, wouldn’t you be homesick?!
“You okay K?!” Slithers asked.
“Yeah… yeah, I am…” I was drifting off into the unknown.
Slithers put his hand on my shoulder, but it didn’t feel icy this time, it was like a comforting warm hand that led to a person who was there for me.
“I think you need to go pack up,” I said and then walked out with my backpack swinging on one shoulder.
“Are you ready to go?!” Sherlock asked.
“Yeah…” I spoke quietly.
“Something is wrong.” Sherlock raised an eyebrow. “What is it?!”
“I’m homesick,” I murmured.
“You're what?!” Sherlock asked.
“Homesick,” I murmured louder.
Sherlock nodded slowly, as if she was trying to understand what was going on. “You need to get your mind off of this.”
“Guys, we gotta keep going.” Tori popped in.
“Yeah.” I agreed, then my stomach growled, “But my stomach does not.”
Sherlock, Tori, and I laughed at that joke.
“Hey, ladies, we have some company.” Called a voice.
We turned around and saw Slithers with a wolf-featured-looking boy walking towards us.
“Who are you?!” We asked in unison.
“I am Kai, son of Leto, she is considered the Goddess of wolves.” The boy introduced himself.
“And why are you here?” I asked, tilting my head a little bit.
“I have come to deliver a message, Hades needs your help.”
