So I thought we were at a time in history when girls wouldn’t be shamed for doing “boy” things?

Haha. Guess not.

I skateboard all the time and I play video games, and I love them both. Naturally, I talk about them because they’re something I’m passionate about.

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been called a “pick-me” or “not like other girls” and IT SUCKS.

I just want to tell people about my hobbies without judgement, because personally I LOVE when people talk to me about things they enjoy. I love seeing the enthusiasm and energy in the conversation when they realize I care.
