【深入層層夢境，距離真相只有一步之遙……】

22世紀原人核戰以後，科學家團隊自太空實驗室回歸地球，攜同倖存者成立聯邦國，一直以穹頂保護國民免受輻射及變異人Deficio侵襲，生物科技高速發展，如今更是「意識具現化」技術面世之時。

「意識具現化」，也就是將微型晶片SEED（重新排列Experimental Device for Enhancement of Self-consciousness的縮寫而得名）植入大腦，將大腦調節至穩定的入夢狀態，改變大腦對夢境時長的感知，使夢境的時間流動速度比現實快上8760倍──現實入夢一小時，相當於夢中過了一年。相關腦波會回譯成神經訊號傳到大腦感官區，使夢中所見所聞都成為實實在在的感知，甚至可以通過網絡共享夢境。

有兩成人經練習後可以做清醒夢，當中又只有極少數人產生的大腦神經脈衝夠強烈，能在夢中自主構造出人事物，甚至掌管夢境時空，人稱──「Architectus」。
