The moments that will never be forgotten. A pleasure some people over a celebration. It's not all the time anyways, people seem this enthusiastic, well not bad for a bit of my bandaged leg sacrifice.
“Look at this Mark! You must admit it!”
I just watched him use the first number gift, pacing around us. It's just a bicycle after all.
"For the winner. Mark!”
"Thank you."
I didn't care, I drank a liter full of orange juice without giving pause and mercy.
“Roddy! Be careful, son! You could hit the biscuits!” Said Aunt Edelweiss who was a little worried after they passed and almost bumped into her.
"Sorry, auntie!" he said that still doesn't stop.
Aunt Edelweiss celebrates our little victory. We're a small party. Not only for the victory, but for passing the final semester exams. The nightmare of all students, of course being forced to study to prove their worth. Liters of orange juice, cola, milk and biscuits were just enjoyed by us. At least that's what I have to underline when my friend who is a bit fat advises me.
"Personally... I-I duon’t muaind if we’re not win." My dear friend, that has giant ball storage alike belly, eat a whole big two bisquits. His mouth definitely rather difficult.
“Uhuk… Uft-“
I kind of pity him, but talk when you're not eating. It was like a taboo for every cultured creature.
“Swallow first, Foscow!” Isabeau rubbed his back. She helped him sip water so he wouldn't choke. Like a mother scolding her child.
When it comes to Foscow, don't say things that are too sensitive, like discussing physical matters. I've always wanted to call him fat, but that was impossible. That's how much I appreciate it. If I guessed it, he would later become a food critic gastronomicist. Occasionally I've asked for opinions on any place that has good food but not too expensive. In fact, he understands every ingredient he eats.
Isabeau, a girl with brown skin, black hair. If I'm not mistaken, she's not from here, but she's certainly not african. A friendly girl, not demanding, but a bit worried. Well, I have a feeling she'll be a nurse tomorrow.
“Food is the most important and second to none. Isn't that right, Foscow?" Rodriguez's babble that was almost as rotten as Roddy.
"No food, no life, right?" he said still looking greedily at the cake which didn't look reduced. I started to think, isn't Aunt Edelweiss broke?
For someone like Foscow, his words ran deep. Well, that reminds me a little not to be picky about food even though it's barely edible. Talking about food makes my stomach growl. Kind of a shock after gulping down so much orange juice.
"Auntie, I ordered a burger. Usual portion.”
"Oh sure, sure!"
Meanwhile I saw some people who weren't from my class. Well, apart from Sonia, who really likes to interfere from the start.
“Oh, you're here, Ephey?”
I always felt she was a more mature girl than the others. Her eyes were slightly slanted, but her vision was pretty sharp. I know not all girls are gentle, but I'm pretty sure this one isn't actually that rough. It's just that in nature, it can be interpreted that people are shy and somewhat less honest with their feelings. Aka shy and somewhat easily irritated.
“Oh hey, Mark!” the friend next to her, pressed lightly my bandages. "Are you okay?"
I squealed a little. Even though I didn't say it, at least my two eyes that blink quickly one of them had a clear expression.
“It's a bit sore, but slowly maybe…”
Winfred, not from my class, but she's always with Ephey. Well, the girl with the pink headband is patient. She also helped me translate Ephey's meaning with her cold attitude.
Meanwhile, Ephey looked away.
I wouldn't consider it big problem, but rather a minor accident. Normally, as far as I can remember, there is quite a lot of blood. But because of Roddy's mood that interpreted in my ears to continue don't give up. At least James and Darent were there too. Even though we are in different classes, we are still friends.
"You'd better be careful," Ephey who looked at me deeply, her tone sulky. Then she go with Winfred, huddled with Verdamant and Pebble.
Those words reminded me a little of the past. Not from our class, but at least one class, once said had been expelled. They're just like us, from the back side of the building, something to be underappreciated. It's not like I have an acquaintance who suddenly holds a grudge. Maybe more to be alert and look for clues.
Meanwhile, Aunt Edelweiss placed my order.
"I thought I just ordered the normal portion, auntie?" Spontaneously one of my eyebrows raised. No problem anyway, but rather too much.
“Uh-huh? Is it true?" Aunt Edelweiss glanced the other way.
“Auntie… come on. We're not playing a guessing game," I rolled my eyes.
“It's a bonus! Don't spit out your crap already, and eat a lot! Ahahahaha!”
She pushed and forced me to keep my mouth shut apart from enjoying the dishes that were given. Without thinking much longer, I immediately ate. Even Foscow who saw me was also impatient. With his body distended, he raised his hand.
Then slowly I still enjoy this dish. Then I looked around….
Somehow I feel lighter.
"What's wrong, Mark? Do you have a headache?" Beckey asked me as I walked past.
“Oh, huh? Oh- no, no. I'm just looking around. They are so lively, right?”
“Well, those are the facts and I think… these morons deserve it. After all we won everything, and the tall Roddy, is also satisfied with it? Ahahahaha!” She patted my shoulder and left. "See you later."
Beckey, a really goofy girl with Verdamant, her hair is pretty weird too, her pigtails look like Mickey Mouse ears on purpose. Kind of a bit tomboyish and do not want to bother.
But speaking of dizziness, maybe it's true. I guess this lightness is a trait of this festive atmosphere. Even though it was very clear, their voices shouted, a little disturbed when looking for peace.
I enjoyed it again until half of it, I watched from a distance as I looked towards the front building. Eyes that held hatred, from the third floor, were looking straight at me? Or maybe in their direction? Or… did I really see it?
When the last bite…
I lowered my gaze. I think it's true, the owner of the sharp eyes earlier, has come down, then watching us from behind the window of the health care unit. The problem is, how can it be that fast? Or is it just my view that's a bit chaotic because right now my body is very light?
Beagle? What is she doing? In my heart voice, my words bit worried. The voices sound a bit abstract. Everything seems to sound loud but slow and suddenly merges without order. My vision is too blurry.
“Huerggh!”
That was the last scream I can remember, after something seemed to have slammed.
For some reason, which I certainly don't remember, for some reason that chapter had to be continued.
Even though I wanted to close it… without continuing to write….
