Once upon a time, there were two little kittens. Their names were Bowser and Crystal. They were very nice and friendly. They loved to drink milk. Bowser's favorite color was red, while Crystal's favorite color was purple.
They lived in a beautiful home in the country. Crystal was very playful and so was Bowser. They loved to play both outside and inside. They loved to play in the nearby meadow.
The kittens had a very nice owner, whose name was Killakitten. The kittens were scared when he first captured them, but soon discovered his real name was Loveakitten. Loveakitten, whose real name is Killakitten, had changed his name as a child so that government officials would guess he collected and took care of cats like Killakitten does. He really collects and kills kittens. (you could call him a poacher.) He had changed his name when he was a child, so people would not make fun of him. He was the wealthiest man in the world and liked to collect kittens. Luckily, he really knew how to take care of his cats.
Killakitten's palace was a cat's heaven. He had twelve rooms full of cat toys, and forty-five rooms full of cat food. He also had 567 rooms full of kitty litter, with servants who constantly kept them clean. He even had 234,554 cat-sized bedrooms for his beloved cats.
Strangely enough, Killakitten's cats didn't mind the water. In fact, they actually loved water. They would splash and play in the pool and visit the 345 cat spas, designed especially for them. Day after day the kittens played and had fun. Oh, how Killakitten loved them, and how the little kittens loved Killakitten in return!
Bowser was a mutant sabortooth cat. Crystal was a black mutant sabertooth cat. One day, Killakitten took Bowser and Crystal for a walk. Then he discovered they had magical powers. He was very surprised, to say the least. He didn't know that cats could even have super powers, much less that two of his were so special and talented. He didn't know what to do about this new development, so he took them to the science lab to run some tests.
The results were not pretty. In fact, they were highly disturbing. Putting all the pieces together, he figured out that the kittens had been fossilized a long time ago, but a crazy scientist found their ancient bones and somehow turned them back into kittens again. During the process, their DNA became mutated, giving them amazing powers. One of their powers was the ability to fly.
"They are such wonderful little kittens. It's a shame you have to take them to your underground city for rare cats," Killakitten's faithful scientist remarked.
"Yeah, it really is a shame," Killakitten agreed. "But at least they'll be safe there, which is the important part. We'd better get to work."
They took the cats in a secret elevator down to the underground city and dropped them off in a new room. Bowser and Crystal realized it was another playroom. Bowser decided to play with a hanging toy, while Crystal eagerly attacked the scratching post with her sharp claws. They were having lots of fun. Bowser was going crazy with his toy, batting it back and forth, watching it swing through the air trying to escape him. He really did not want to leave when Killakitten said it was time to leave to go shopping, but came along without complaint anyway. They were such good, obedient kittens.
When the three of them were finished shopping, they went to Killakitten's secret house in the underground city. It was chock full of scratching posts and exciting cat toys. The kittens played contentedly until feeding time.
Killakitten set up his robot to feed Crystal and Bowser, then went out to feed the rest of his special cats in his country palace on the surface. After he made sure they all had enough to eat and drink, he went right back to Bowser and Crystal. He really did not want anyone to steal them. He loved them so.
He didn't want anyone to know there were still saberteeth cats in the world, since they were supposed to be extinct. If word got out that they were being held in his science lab, the lab would soon be overrun with crowds of people chanting, "Sabertooth!Sabertooth! We want to see the sabertooth!"
He really did not want that to happen.
"Just thinking about it makes me sick," Killakitten thought.
Then he thought how many people would try to bribe him and trick him into giving them Bowser and Crystal, and how many people would break in and try to steal Bowser and Crystal.
'Oh how horrible it is to think of what will happen to the poor little kittens,' Killakitten thought.
Meanwhile Bowser and Crystal were exploring the rest of the underground city trying to memorize the maze of houses. Crystal thought how cool it would be to walk in and out of the houses in the underground city knowing right where they were and where to go next. 'It would be pretty cool,' Bowser always replied.
Many days passed by and nobody found out about Bowser and Crystal. Until April 7, 2003. Then the governor got word that the science lab had an underground city for rare cats with two sabertooth cats in it. He was so surprised that he fainted for twelve hours. When he finally woke up he was outraged that Killakitten had found two sabertooth cats and didn't tell him.
Killakitten was sent to jail, and the two little kittens were left alone until the day the governor wanted to study them. So he took them out. Once Bowser and Crystal were free they raced out of their cages and went to free Killakitten. Before the governor could shout "Stop!," the scientist screamed, a red light started flashing, and a siren started beeping. The scientist said, "Get in the car, we have got some kittens to catch!"
Meanwhile Bowser and Crystal found a secret tunnel. (Which was not a secret anymore because Bowser and Crystal had found it.) It was a tunnel that led to the governor's office! They quickly got the phone, dialed the jail's phone number, talked to the Warden, and told him to let Killakitten go. He listened and said he'd drop him off right away.
The scientist and the governor got in the car and chased a hologram of the kittens Bowser had set off with his mind. They chased the hologram to a large crack in the earth. The hologram made a 'miraculous' jump across the expanse. The governor refused to give up and built a bridge across, so he could keep chasing!
Unfortunately, the hologram suddenly ran out of psychic energy and unexpectedly triggered Bowser's teleportation powers, sending him and his companions to the location of the vanishing hologram! Now they were in serious trouble. The governor was now hot on the heels of the real Bowser and Crystal, plus Killakitten!
The governor shouted, "Now I have you!"
To their shocked delight, the governor's assistant suddenly turned against the governor! It was really Killakitten's faithful scientist, who had only pretending to be loyal to the governor in order to get into a good position to help when the time was right. He sent the governor flying into the crack in the earth. Killakitten praised him and they hugged.
As they prepared to leave, they were suddenly surrounded by all of the governor's goons and cops and then Killakitten realized that Bowser and Crystal were gone! Then they saw that the governor had caught onto a branch and climbed back up and had managed to grab the kittens while they were distracted! Killakitten didn't know what to do! He was distraught, until he noticed a slight flicker. It was just a hologram!
Bowser and Crystal came flooding in. . . with all the other kittens! The kittens fought bravely and defeated the governor and his goons! Hooray! They celebrated with a party and were up all night. Killakitten decided to keep the rest of the kittens in the underground city with Bowser and Crystal. They played and played all day long with the other kittens.
They had a blast, but were still oddly lonely. They had never seen another cat like themselves before. However, one day the scientist brought in two new cats, both girls. Their names were Ruby and Sapphire. They were mutated saberteeth too! Their story was the same as well, except they didn't grow up with a really nice owner like Bowser and Crystal did. They lived in the alley with no one to love them until the day Killakitten saw them and took them to the lab.
Bowser and Crystal showed them all around the city. Not only did Ruby and Sapphire have fun but so did Bowser and Crystal. They spent the rest of the day talking about their adventures and then quickly fell asleep.
The next day Ruby and Sapphire were gone!
Bowser found a note. It said to meet them at Killakitten's house at five. When they arrived at Killakitten's house no one was there. So they flipped the light switch and "Surprise!" Everyone jumped out and sang 'Happy Birthday'.
Bowser said, ''Oh! I forgot it is our birthday, and they wanted to throw a surprise party, but with everything that has happened in the last few days I guess we forgot."
Everyone laughed and then they all started dancing. Afterward they all sat down to eat some cake. They were going to be nine and twelve. They blew out the candles and everyone cheered!
They spent the rest of the day playing in the meadow with their friends. Then they fell asleep right there in the meadow. On Monday they played games in the meadow and then at night they had a slumber party. At the slumber party they laughed and laughed at all of the jokes and shivered and shivered at telling scary story time.
''It was the best night ever!'' Bowser said. That night they fell asleep under the stars.
On Tuesday they went to see a movie. They had so much fun! And they talked a lot about having a new cat. They wanted someone to join their club for saberteeth. Then the next day there was someone new. It was yet another sabertooth. He was a boy named Sparky. That night they had a sleepover meet and greet. It turns out they all came from the same mother! They all sat the rest of the night eating pizza and telling stories from long ago.
''Hey I wonder . . .do we all have the same powers?'' pondered Crystal.
''Well, that would be interesting'' said Sparky.
''Lets find out'' said Bowser.
So the next day they tried out to see if they had the same powers.
It turns out that even though they all came from the same mother, but they had totally different powers. Bowser had the power to fly. Crystal could glow in the dark. Ruby could move things with her mind. Sapphire could make things from her imagination into real things. Sparky could make things really hot, freeze them, or move them.
''I guess we are pretty amazing cats,'' said Bowser.
''Hey it would be really cool if we used our powers for good and fought crime''said Sapphire.
''That would be awesome, '' Sparky agreed.
''We all agree,'' said Bowser, Ruby, and Crystal.
''And who thought of fighting crime?'' said Sapphire, gleaming with pride and joy, feeling wise.
''You did'' the rest of the cats chimed.
''That's what I am talking about,'' said Sapphire smugly.
''Lets get to it then,'' suggested Bowser.
''Okay, that is a good idea,'' said Ruby.
So the cats went off into the forest to try to find a criminal, however they did not find a criminal. ''Maybe we should try the city,'' said Sapphire. So the cats tried the city, and fortunately they were more successful in their attempt to fight crime this time. They found a person taking another person's purse. Kitties to the rescue!
''Two on the left, two on the right and I'll take the lady to safety'' said Bowser. The cats obeyed Bowser's commands and they all helped the lady get her purse back.
''Thank you very much!'' exclaimed the lady.
''No, thank you!'' said the cats. "It was our pleasure!"
Later, the cats decided that they would go by the name Catastic Crew.
''Lets set a goal of one crime per day'' said Bowser.
''You mean we fight one crime per day,'' said Sparky.
''Yes, that is exactly what I meant, thank you, Sparky,'' said Bowser.
''Lets do it!'' said the cats as they put their paws in a pile.
To this day, they have been fighting crime and saving people in need, and Killakitten, well, he got rid of that mean old governor and replaced him with a new nicer one who was a cat lover. He also promoted his scientist and hired several assistants for himself. Plus, the kittens now live happily in Cat city. You know, the 'underground city' that Bowser and Crystal were put in when Killakitten first found out their powers. Also, cat city has been upgraded to the newest cat trends including those cool cat lounges/ scratching posts. And those laser pointers that point dots and cats go crazy for them.
Killakitten also bought about five to ten bags of feathers because he knew from experience that cats love feathers. Loveakitten was caught in the act of capturing kittens and was exiled from the country. It's true. He was sent to Siberia and the tigers probably attacked and killed him.
Big news! Killakitten's science lab became a zoology center and he, of course, became a zoologist. He teaches about cats and recruits many scientists from his class. People drop by daily to ask him questions about the sabortooth kittens and they also ask Killakitten to put the translation collars on the kittens so that they can tell them their story.
Killakitten found out where their powers really came from and why the patterns on their fur was so different then any of the other sabortooth cats and kittens that also lived in cat city. Bowser and Sparky incredibly had the some of the traits of all the extinct and endangered animals that had ever lived on earth. Crystal and Sapphire had the traits and powers of the following animals: Snow Leopard, Black Panther, Panda Bear, Polar Bear, Ocelot, and a tortoiseshell cat. Ruby had the powers and traits of the following animals: Panda Bear, Jaguar, Python, Cobra, and Cheetah.
Everything was going well for the kittens; fighting crime, teleportation, great escapes, story telling, going on adventures, living a life of luxury, and meeting new friends. All is peaceful in cat city but there is certainly still someone still lurking in the shadows. The kittens are on chase mode! They stalk every corner and look behind every cat bed. Soon they stop for lunch and, of course, the kittens are back in chase mode.
Then, suddenly, Ruby screams in terror. The other kittens rush to her side and are suddenly as terrified as she is. Well, Bowser and Crystal are especially scared because he almost killed them once. It was Loveakitten! He had escaped the cold, rugged slopes of Siberia and survived a Siberian tiger attack. But could he survive the kittens? Well, since there were five kittens and ten more mutated cats, they surrounded him and started stalking.
Then growling like never before. Then they started hissing. Loveakitten was getting pretty freaked out right now because there was fifteen mutated cats with huge muscular bodies and sharp, killing claws surrounding him. Before the kittens knew it, Killakitten was at cat city looking to see what all the commotion was.
Once Killakitten realized what was going on, Loveakitten threw a knife at Killakitten's throat. Killakitten was in shock that Loveakitten had escaped the cold prison of a country and a tiger attack. Killakitten couldn't move; He might die! Sparky quickly jumped in front of Killakitten and caught the dagger. Finally, they were safe. The End.
Or is it...?
Author's note
Please, please, please, don't question my six-year-old logic. I know people don't have names like that. I know the plot is absolutely ridiculous. I know that kittens can't scream, catch daggers, solve crime, or do any of that other stuff. But this is just a fictional story. It was all in my imagination. Logic doesn't need to exist in this story, and neither does sense. It's just kind of here.
