A haunting puzzle, tragedy awaits

to swallow your cries in a fog of blue

eager for murder — and to suffocate

rising floods tumble over helpless gates

some observe the sea in a different way.

They see aqua glowing under amber lights

its hush, placid sounds that can heal one’s mind

a gust of wind shuddering up their spine

as they scan the golden waters

and serene dolphins trailing behind.
