Hello! That's a dumb way to start a diary… Starting today, I guess I'll be writing my feelings, drama, and whatnot in here. I admit to being pretty depressed lately. My mom says I'm bringing everyone down, too. My therapist was the one who suggested this whole diary thing. Normally, I don't really care what my therapist says, but I acquiesced. I don't want to feel this way anymore.
Considering how it could be, sophomore year is going okay. I have my few friends, and they understand me. My English teacher, Ms. Russell, is so lugubrious. Even on the easiest assignments, she's always asking me if I need help. Sometimes, I do feel chagrin and like an embarrassment when I turn down her help when I really need it.
On the other hand, the cooking class is great! The key lime pie we made last week was sublime – pun intended. I crack myself up sometimes. I guess that's enough for today.
