開章：有著煩惱的高一新生，在前往學校的途中遇到一個小龕。


怕生的她對小龕說出了自己的擔憂，但對小龕的毫無回應撓了撓頭，然而第二天經過時，小龕上多了一封給她的信。


背景故事：

從前有個落魄的教書先生，他出生時間不詳，正因知道自己時日不長，總是在街頭遊蕩。

在他最後的人生裡，與小朋友們嬉戲，傳授自己畢生所學。

但隨著所處之地小孩不斷失蹤，不知所措的村民將教書先生視為犯人。

教書先生雖被村民處以火刑，但跟教書先生相處的孩子們不相信他是犯人。建造了一個小龕（櫝），並時常去那聚會。而神奇的是他們造神龕後失蹤的孩子慢慢找回，在之後則流傳出了一個傳說「行書先生是孩子們的引路神」
