新聞播導員莫麗本來也認為這是一宗普通的自殺案，但隨著自殺的人越來越多，她身邊的得力助手小偉開始懷疑事件並不單純。
小偉發揮他的偵探頭腦，向莫麗說出自殺案的種種共通點，最後小偉說了這麼一句﹕「最後一個共通點，就是… …這十二個人，他們全部都是孤兒。」
