那天夜裡，花園像是被誰悄悄點亮了。

音樂從人群中央漫開，笑聲一層一層蓋過夜色。有人踩錯了舞步，便索性拉著身旁的人一起轉圈；有人唱錯了歌詞，也只是笑著把聲音唱得更大。

英信站在人群邊緣，一時竟有些不知所措。

在她所熟悉的現實裡，快樂總像是需要理由。要考得好，要被喜歡，要沒有犯錯，要成為某個不讓人失望的樣子，才像是有資格笑出聲來。

可是這裡不一樣。

沒有人在意誰來自哪裡，也沒有人追問誰曾經失去過什麼。陌生人可以毫無防備地牽起彼此的手，笑聲可以不必被壓低，眼淚也似乎不需要急著藏起來。

每一張被燈光照亮的臉，都真誠得近乎不可思議。

她忽然覺得，這裡不像現實。

像是一場被允許做夢的夜晚。

而她也是在那一刻，第一次明白了——

原來所謂的花園，並不只是讓人迷路的地方。

它也曾經，是讓人想留下來的天堂。
