So, it's been a while, so I figured I should make a quick update to let everyone who's interested know what's going on. I apologize for being quiet for so long. I really only like posting updates when I feel like there is actually something worth mentioning. I'm not one for posting a lot for the purposes of posting. Chapter three's first draft is around halfway finished. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before or not, but the only times I really have available to write are on the weekends due to having a busy life schedule. This chapter has also proven to be quite a difficult one to write. There are a lot of factors at play in it, and it's also going to be probably a fairly long one with a lot of action sequences (which are hard to write). It also doesn't help that this is the second time I've had to write it. The first time I wrote it, I got several pages in, and then the file got corrupted, making me lose everything I had written on it and forcing me to start it over from the beginning. That was rough. This time, though, I have made sure that I have backups so that it won't happen again. I'm three pages in. I'm going to do my best this upcoming weekend to really hit it hard. I'll let everyone know when the first draft is done.
Another thing, this time I am going to try and get a beta reader to review the chapter before I post it. This will, of course, be after I have performed my own revisions. That about sums it all up. I hope there are still some readers left out there that haven't given up on the story yet. I hate that I can't really produce the chapters faster, but with the limited amount of free time I have, it's hard to crank them out any quicker. Hopefully, you all can understand.
