Hello all! I wanted to use my first blog post to inform you all of a new writing contest that I have started. The contest is a writing challenge inspired by a prompt given to me back when I was in college. The goal of this contest is to write an engaging, short story based on a rock. It's a fun writing exercise that forces you to really turn on those creative juices.
Come join the fun! The contest will run for a month to allow contestants time to polish their entries. The winner will be based on who can write the most interesting story, but the main goal of this contest is to help contestants to improve their writing skills while gaining some extra exposure.
