Motherland oh Motherland you bleed but still you guide me

You bleed and guide, you weep inside, and you always worry

Your loss, grief, and poverty. Your lies and honesty.

No matter what rulers say I give you my loyalty

I will not eat because your people can’t

I’ll follow you no matter how they rant

Fatherland hits Motherland

He shouts and screams and rages

Economy fuelled by blood

Her people must earn wages

He thinks he is a good man

Her stitched mouth and soul that floods

I must do all that I can
