I wandered through the streets,

Lonely, miserable and drunk,

The dark cobble roads,

Swaying under my feet.

Oh! What would be of me?

I watched with hopeless eyes,

As the first rain dripped down,

Like falling angels from the sky.

Even the sky was angry at me,

It roared at me in hate,

The sounds of drip-drops and splatter,

drowned the voices my messy mind.

leaving me soaked and alight,

I kept walking from dusk to dawn,
