'Kamara, can I come in?' I heard Kaima ask from the other side of the the door before a knock followed.
Dropping the book I was trying to read I replied her with the affirmative.404Please respect copyright.PENANAGbVUF3gdev

'You didn't touch your breakfast so I kind of brought something for you to eat' she said as she placed the tray of food on my desk.
But something else caught my attention, someone actually.
'I believe you didn't say can we come in. What's he doing here?' I asked looking slightly towards my brother.
' Don't be like that Kamara' she said taking a sit beside me on my bed.
'I know you are hurt, angry and annoyed, but don't take it out on him. He didn't do anything wrong' she added.
'He was there when they made this decision. The least he could do was to tell me' I replied.
' Come on Kammy' he urged taking a few steps towards me. ' You already knew about it and we both know nothing I could have said would have changed their minds. I mean I was just there for being there . They've already made their decision a long time ago'.
' Yeah you're right, I'm sorry'. I apologized rubbing my hands over my face.
' Actually, we came here cause we are worried about you' Kaima said with a soft tone.
'True actually, something about you seems off' Kay said taking a seat on my desk chair.
' I'm fine' I replied trying my best to drop the topic.
' You can't fool us sis. You don't even smile anymore' Kaima said concerned.
Scoffing slightly I replied. ' People don't just smile because they are fine. Kaima you know better' I said glancing towards her direction.
'Wait' Kaima suddenly said. That means you aren't okay. What is the problem'? She asked. She remembered I thought.
' You were downstairs, stop asking questions. Thanks for the food . I was actually busy before you came in so'. I told them .
'What is your problem Kamara?!' Kaima suddenly yelled getting up from the bed.
' We came all the way here, not just because you haven't eaten, but we are really worried about you' she said slightly angry.
' Easy Kaima' Kay said trying to calm her down.
' No no' she said waving him off turning back to face me. ' Don't think we don't hear your screams at night, don't think we don't hear you cry yourself to sleep. This is more than what happened downstairs'. she said looking straight at me.
So they've all been hearing this?
' You've suddenly become rude to mom -'
'Well isn't it obvious why!' I screamed cutting her off. ' You don't know anything .You don't know what is going on so stop acting like you do' I replied getting ticked off.
' I don't know what is going on that's why I'm asking you, so tell me' she said, her voice coming down slightly.
I couldn't even get a chance to reply before Kay asked the question I've always been dreading making me freeze slightly.
'What?' I asked.
'I said what happened at the party?' he asked again, his tone firm and unwavering.
'What are you talking about, I left before it got to the main part.404Please respect copyright.PENANASGk29wEw3y

Or you mean the part that you made me go all the way home alone after promising to take me' I replied dryly.

'What? You did what?' Kaima asked in shock.
' Don't tell me that nonsense Kamara. You know exactly what I'm talking about'. He said ignoring Kaima.404Please respect copyright.PENANAbD2bWgBHeh

'Something happened at that party or after it and I want to know all. And don't tell me nothing because we both know everything began to change after that day. You stopped laughing, you stopped smiling . You changed'. He added.
Laughing mockingly I replied. 'Yes Kay, something happened, you... ditched....me. The least you could do is to apologize, I can't believe this'.
'I did that for 3weeks after the party , what else do you want me to do?' he asked in frustration.
I looked to see Kaima staring hard at him.
' Let's forget about that first and focus on the main issue' she said.
' There isn't a main issue, discussion over, can you all get out of my room now' I replied smiling tightly.
Kaima sighed heavily before turning to Kay.
'Let's go' .
Getting up she dragged Kay with her as they began to walk towards the door .
But before they could leave, he turned back to face me. 'Something happened at that party. And I'm going to find out' he said before the door slammed shut.
Making sure they had gone far enough , I screamed into my pillow as as I felt the tears coming.
It was all his fault, they were all at fault. They caused every single thing that happened that night.404Please respect copyright.PENANAeu6lHHB6Mm

Waking up for the second time that day. I was met with darkness.
Searching my bed for my phone, I finally found it . 7:21 pm the clock read.
Tapping it on. I got down from my bed walking up to my light switch, switching the lights on.
I walked into the bathroom to have a shower. Stepping out when I was done ,I took a glance at myself in the mirror, my eyes stopping right at the scar on my neck.
Raising a hand to touch it, my mind went back to the day it happened. How he grabbed my neck roughly and pushed me hard against the wall, I remember I was wearing a spaghetti top that night.
Turning my back towards the mirror, sure enough there were some scratches there. Sighing heavily I walked out of the bathroom.
Putting my pyjama on, I left my room, walking down the stairs. I wondered why it was so quiet.
'Getting down, the sitting room was empty. I wonder where everyone is?
Making my way to the kitchen, I realized I hadn't had anything to eat.
I opened the fridge scanning it before grabbing a container that contained spaghetti jollof.
Perfect! I cheered to myself.
Getting a none stick pan, I poured the content of the container inside .
Turning to get the lighter from the island, I was met with a figure.
' Ha!' I screamed, putting a hand to my chest to calm down my racing heart.
' I'm s..so so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you' The person said as he began to walk towards me.
'Stop! Don't come closer' I called out grabbing a kitchen knife on the table, making him come to a halt. My heart was banging within my chest.
'Calm down, I didn't expect you to wake up so soon, I wanted-
'Stay away, who are you'? I questioned.
' I mean no harm I promise. I won't move from this spot if that makes you feel better' . He said while making his way to the other side of the kitchen island.
'So what are you doing in my house?who are you? How did you get in here? Why are we the only one's at home?' I asked breathing heavily.
'Which do you want me to answer first?' he asked.
I glared hard at him.
' You are just like your dad said you would be' he said to himself , smiling slightly.
I looked him hard in the eye scoffing. 'You must be the so called suitor' I replied , my heart rate slowly returning to normal.
' Who says?, I could just be a stalker' . He replied, walking forward as soon as he saw me lower the knife.
' Who are you and why are we alone here? Don't think because I lowered the knife, doesn't mean I can't stab you'. I replied in a firm tone to which he raised both his hands in surrender.
'You know if I actually was here to kill you, I would have done so by now. You do know you should have stabbed me the moment you saw me though. I'm a stranger'. He pointed out.
' You won't tell me what to do' I replied sharply.
'By the way I'm Dave' he said leaning on the kitchen island.
' I don't care' I replied grabbing the lighter from beside him.
' Are you always this angry?' he asked.
' And do you always force people to marry you?' I countered back turning to face him.
'Lets calm down' he said while putting up his hands.
'No one is calming down, leave my house' I said gesturing towards the door.
' I came with my parents, I can't just....leave' he said.
' Yes the point, you all should leave, I do not like your presence, so go away' I replied firmly.
'Kammy right?' he asked totally ignoring what I just said.
' It's Kamara to you, in fact don't even call my name. We never met' I replied getting annoyed.
'Well I see you both have met' I heard my dad say. Looking towards the front door, I saw everyone had gotten in.
'Really dad. Leaving us both alone in the house for what to happen.
We'll connect, fall in love and then...boom marriage? Is that what you really thought?' I asked mockingly.
'You will not speak to me that way young lady. What is your problem?!' he asked yelling at me.
' This is my problem dad'.I replied, gesturing towards the situation we were in. 'Everything is'.
'At Least have respect for us and the guests'. He said sternly.
'Respect? You all should have respected my opinions first dad and this would never have happened'
'Keep your mouth shut Kamara!' he shouted.
'Honey' my mom called out trying to calm him down.
'I won't, I won't be quiet because I'm tired of staying silent, you don't respect me, my opinions, my feelings, my emotions dad.
It's choking me up inside that I can't hold it in anymore. I don't say anything doesn't mean I'm fine with it!' I yelled with tears streaming down my cheeks.
'Kammy' I heard me sister call out to me softly. But I couldn't see her because tears clouded my vision.
Wiping them away harshly I added, my voice barely above a whisper404Please respect copyright.PENANAp7iZSSDWBV

' I'm tired, weak and hungry. I just need a break.
But there's no use, you've never given me one anyway'.
'Let me fix you something to eat' my mom said making her way to the fridge.
' Don't bother, don't act like the perfect mom here'. I told her shaking my head.
I knew what I said hit her because she was biting hard on her lip, which she always did when she was caught doing something wrong.
' I'm not hungry anymore.
Again... have a goodnight' I added making my way up the stairs to my room.
