Certain pieces of music inspire us to write. Melancholy songs encourage scenes of tragedy while energetic sings invoke scenes of victory and times of celebration. What do you envision when you hear certain songs?
Pick an instrumental piece of music (classical pieces, a movie score, video soundtrack, choir hymns etc.) and write a short story based off of it; maximum 5,000 words. Put the song that inspired you at the top of your entry as well as the genre the story fits into.
