But you we’re strange.

You’re engaged to death…

But you never got married.

You have a soul…

But you appear as an empty vessel.

You never knew the world…

But you were never curious.

I talk to you in the dark;

Silently reading your thoughts.

You’re like a shallow lake.

Nothing is hidden.

You are innocent,

You are kind,

You are just a child.

I can’t look at your eyes…

God might bury me deeper in hell.

No one understood why you stayed complete in the most brutal battles of science

But you’re body was filled with marks and scars of all the tragedy.

You may have cried multiple of times as they dragged you back to those chambers

But you were too forgiving and patient with everything as if they also controlled your mind.

If there’s one thing we can never comprehend, it was the mind.

We know how it works but nothing seems to be constant with it.

It is something we can’t control so we relied more on the body.

We relied on your existence…

To the point of being pointless.

It wasn't part of the plan…

I thought the victory was the end of your sacrifices…

But it just woke up another vicious beast hidden in their godless souls.

You were placed in a bottle like a specimen,

Studied and observed for more than a decade.

I thought those years would end after seeing no progress…

But they just pulled the limit further after that.

You still look like a man…

But you’re not considered as a human.

You’re just a chemical reaction now…

You lost your soul…

You may now go to heaven,

As we wait for your vessel to awaken.

The beast finally took form.

It was once hidden deep in our hearts and minds but now…

It has limbs and a face that will remind us;

Of our capabilities

Of our confidence

Of our unity

Of our greatest sin.

It wasn’t a miracle anymore.

It wasn’t you.

I didn’t wait for it to breathe…

I ended it there.

I destroyed your vessel and tried to escape but it was too late…

It destroyed everything in an instant…

Like a god.
