The Truth About Life - Darkened souls

I hear whispers in the dark

I see the sky lightening

and the lord of sky raging,

from anger.

It is raining and it seems that the god is crying

and his teardrops are falling.

There are thunderstorms.

Everyone is sleeping while

I am sitting on my bed

hiding under my blanket.

My windows shut and open

causing me to get scared.

The night sky is dark and tremendous

and it reminds me

of the darkened souls we have.

The darkened hearts and

the lies, the secrets that we hide.

Every lie just gets bigger and bigger.

Maybe the lord is upset

and he thinks the whole,

human race to be a mistake.

The clouds are getting blacker

and the thunder is getting stronger.

I wonder will our souls

ever change?

Will lying make it any

better?

Everything has reason.

Are we getting so bad?

I rise up from my bed

and set out to face the

storm.

The truth is that I am

no more afraid of the thunder.

I know what I have to do.

It is time for us

to lighten our souls,

and out shine the

light that stands within us.

It is time for us to get

up and shine brighter than

the stars.

The darkened souls lie within us

and we can change it.
