day off

free from

from the shadows

a break from fear

confidence is power

floating

yet grounded

maturity without fear

productive determination

taking the lead   

a social wannabe’s

day dream

communication; so easy

surviving

without back up

you're in it alone

and

loving it

strong

loving life

unstoppable energy

put to good use

toughness - unbroken

breakable as steal

professional

unknown experience

worked into the light

gathering energy

questioning

finding answers

together

think

what’s the difference?

why today?

what has reset my personality?

is this my control

or

someone else?

whatever it is

i like it

confusion

where are they?

shadows

haunting, fear

you were so at home

with the rock

holding you back

no more hiding

haunting terror- gone

your under control

controlling

mind & body

fully

authority; your own

back up; no need

simplicity

is survival

no security measures

cling to lifelines

why

how to act

driven to take charge

subconsciously

knowing

the insistent, ever pressing drive

take full advantage  

of this new glory

you

now in the drivers seat

no longer a struggle

backseat driver; no more

like

oil added to rusty gears

your remade

like new

however

nothing is forever

you can fix a broken char

which glue

doesn't matter

some time

sooner or later

your char will break again

out of so many

one question, stands alone

how long?

minutes, hours, days, weeks

until its gone

professional control

a limited luxury

when the last drop is gone

the nightmare returns

nothing is stable

ask as you may

for

pure pleasure

to stay

all who listens

will surely hear

that painful cry

when courage leaves

and the shadows return
