From my perspective — Ji Wuji
I am squatting beside an old energy unit in the side room of the Archives. My silver-grey overalls have faint marks from previous work. I run my fingers along the casing, checking each circuit. This device was recovered from an ancient site and has not operated properly for a long time.
Qing Geng stands nearby, holding a crystal-encoded record book. Her long hair falls smoothly, and she wears a light green dress as always. “The original design notes are here,” she says softly, turning to a marked page.
I look at the lines: “Three sections have oxidized, and one part was modified later. If we restore it to the original specifications, it should work.”
She nods: “Proceed carefully. The data inside is important.”
I adjust my tools and begin working. Occasionally she adds details from the records — the original purpose, the era it belonged to. After about an hour, the indicator light glows steadily. I sit back, wiping dust from my cheek. “It is running now.”
She steps closer, watching the light: “Good. Now we can access the information stored within.”
I look at her: “If you have more old equipment needing repair, I can come again.”
She smiles gently: “Thank you. That would be very helpful.”
We sit together for a while, looking at the first lines of recovered text. No grand event, just the quiet satisfaction of restoring something that was lost.

我蹲在典藏馆偏间的一台旧能源装置旁，银灰色工装还留着之前工作留下的浅痕。手指沿着外壳摸索，逐一检查线路。这是从远古遗址运回的设备，一直没能正常启动。
青梗站在一旁，手里捧着水晶密文典籍。她长发柔顺垂落，依旧穿着浅绿长裙。 “这里有最初的构造记录。”她轻声说着，翻到做了标记的页面。
我扫过图纸：“有三处线路氧化，还有一段是后来改动过的。按原始参数复原，应该可以运转。”
她点头：“请小心操作，里面保存的信息很重要。”
我调整工具开始动手，她偶尔补充典籍里的细节——最初的用途、所属的年代。大约一个时辰后，指示灯终于亮起稳定的微光。我往后坐直，擦去脸颊的灰尘：“可以运行了。”
她走近些，看着亮起的光：“太好了，这样就能读取里面的内容了。”
我看向她：“以后还有类似的旧设备要修，我可以再来。”
她温和地笑了笑：“谢谢你，那会帮上很大的忙。”
